Reduced Expansion Prices

So, my brother was looking into getting WoW, but he thought it was going to cost too much, and upon going to log in, the advertisement window showed me this...

I was just wondering if anybody knew how long this deal will last. Is it a limited time only "Black Friday/holiday sale, or is it a permanent price cut to make up for the growing number of expansions required to play.

As far as I know, that deal is on only for a short period of time. Will post more detailed.

Edit: Last time I read it, I think it said something around the 29th of November (probably due to getting a slight headstart before Cataclysm is released). As it is possible to get to 80 within those weeks. I'm not sure if this can be used simutaniously with the refer-a-friend program.
