I just saw some GW2 videos

And I´ve never been into Guild Wars at all, but I have to admit it looks kind of awesome :O
Might be something to consider for a lot of us, and inb4 "Nobody´s gonna stop you mate." - that has nothing to do with anything.

Personally I think I´ll be enjoying some of the sweet new Wii titles over xmas, and THEN I might start thinking about WoW or whatever, but I suspect studies will keep me busy...

I'd be happy for people if the game didn't suck, but usually if the first of a series blows, the rest do as well. All about first impressions, and GW's first impression was horrible.

Guild Halls were cool
Capes were cool.
Fort Aspenwood was cool.(kinda)

I don't think GW was horrible, it just isn't WoW. I played GW before I ever played warcraft and I liked it quite a bit, but everyone I knew who already played WoW thought GW was terrible.

GW2 looks pretty cool to me, but I probably won't get around to playing it

I'm playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and I tried Black Ops.

I still gotta say, Call of Duty Modern Warfare (1) has the best multiplayer. So I'm just gonna play that. Screw Guild Wars.

GW1 was pretty terrible after playing WoW. Might have been different if i had played it before WoW, but i would have switched instantly i think. haha.

GW2 doesn't look much different. yay we can now roam the whole world with everyone! yay we're going to have 500v500 guild battles! yay we're going to get 10 button action bars!
