    Is it really that hard to type 2 more letters?

    But if you are still unsure, you will have to use it in context with each sentence is comes with.

    Edit: When I first stated using the internet for online gaming (over 10 years back) 'y' to me always meant 'why'.
    It was only when I started playing wow that I saw people use it for 'yes'.

    I don't think I've ever seen anyone in game use it for "yes". That just seems weird to me lol
