I moved my i7 over to run the audio/video studio so back to the trusty e8500 clocked to 3.8g in an asus p5e (yes with the maximus installed)
    2xati 5770's running 3x40" hd monitors
    4x2g gskill ram
    800w mod power sup
aftermarket cooler, can't remember what brand/model
    basic fan controller
bigfoot tech's killer xeno network card (that's the secret awesomesauce imo, I play mostly on an oceanic server though I live in Canada, I get pings as low as 23ms, though I roll around 40ms usually. The biggest deal about it is the app that lets me decide what gets bandwidth and what gets throttled)
wow keyboard, logitech g13, razor naga,
despite what ppl say about quad core, my core 2 dou in this config ticks 60 fps in 25's, even with my eyefinity running ultra settings with multisampling at a meager 2x

After much self-debate I decided to buy a proper headset, a Platronics Gamecom 377. I realized that there's essentially NO HEADSET out there that hasn't received it's share of horrible feedback/reviews, there are no such things as DURABLE headsets....my Gamecom will break in a few months (surely) at exactly the same places where other people's Gamecoms have broken, but I hope I'll get some decent use out of it till then

Pretty sure I have the 377 as well, the $50 one right? Either way, I've had it since Christmas, the damned only things that really bother me are when I'm talking on vent, sometimes I hear myself through their speakers, and also in some of my newer youtube videos, my mic sounds very very quiet, and staticy. On another note, cables, I hate how they get all messy and tangled. >_< This one at least has a wrapping around the two inner cables in it that is made in such a way that allows the knots and tangles to be easily fixed.

I have Plantronics Gamecom 777 (afaik same as 377 but includes the USB soundcard), 8 months old and still in prefect working order after some medium abuse.
Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.

    Hmm, good to hear.
I'm going to treat mine as if it were made of gold, no raging :P

That's not your fault, they don't have acoustic cancellation enabled...it minimizes the "feedback" they would get from front speakers back into their mics.

Nah, I hear other people through them as well, and they don't sound nearly as staticy. =S

Photos are nice but atleast include specs we have no clue what setup you're running.
