Well, Z87M colorschemes aren't that great to begin with. And i picked the board because of the onboard audio mostly.

Looks awesome. I think the asrock board fits too. Looks kind of glowy gold-silver-ish and it goes pretty well with everything else. Only thing is the miss coloured cable connectors.

i almost wonder if you could paint a motherboard, tape off the sockets and anything important, use black radiator paint so you wouldn't insulate heat, that might work

Looks like primer to me, not a finished product. All the picture is demonstrating is that it is possible to paint a motherboard when done correctly.

Did you not have enough slack with the 8 pin cpu power connector to route it behind the motherboard tray and through the top grommet?

Nope! Thats what kind of ruined my motivation for cable management. Tried and it was so close. But the cable was too short :/
Well it could reach to the socket. But didnt manage to make the 90* Turn out of the grommet.

When I do a build with a non-modular PSU, I always hate when a cable comes up short of the ideal position for the sake of cable management. Then again, I'm an electrician with a pretty bad case of OCD. Things must always be neat. A scenario like yours with the 8 pin cable coming up short would make me flip a table out of rage.

Jealous of your cooler, even though I decided on air; I truly want a 100i . Looks good man!

Sounds awesome, can't wait for the pictures. Just bear in mind how bright the LED strips are, especially in an mATX case like the 350D, and don't over-do them

I wanted to fiddle with my computer again. I dont have to upgrade anything performance wise, so I decided to go for a new CPU cooler. I started to get annoyed by that block of metal, so I decided on a WC solution. It had to be a AIO, so I pretty much decided to go with the H100i. But I got curious about the h220, with its upgradability etc.
I looked for benches, but that proved difficult. But it seemed that the H220 performs better and with the ability to expand the loop I decided to get that instead

I might add my gpu later on, or just wait till my next build to try that out.

I had some issues with the screws (damned things were to short). My original plan was to put the rad inside the case and have the fans in pull in the little tray the 500r has. That fit perfectly, but the screws...... So for now it is sitting there, not attached for now. I will probably get new screws later on, or switch some stuff around.
The fans are in pull atm, but I might aswell put them in push. But for now im content with it. Temps dropped by 10 degrees, im hoping the TIM needs some cure time. But like I said, im content for now. I will probably fiddle with it when I got some more time.
