Also, on another note, it's unlikely my supermassive SSD RAID will come to pass for some time, and that the M10 will also likely have to wait. Some things in life just need to be uprooted and thrown into the garbage like they weeds they are. That's all i'll say for the moment, but getting rid of this particular vine from around my neck will mean that no new expansions for the system can be worked in, at least for a while.

Getting rid of it will make me much happier though. The Vine, not the system. The system goes nowhere. It should give me much more free time to instead replace that weed with what might hopefully blossom into an orchard.

    Yes, i love being cryptic.
I approve of this message. We've all been there.

However, when you get back to the system... more pictures... more more more more.
I love seeing a system that's well put together, and to be honest, yours goes far beyond being well designed/put together.

Can't go wrong with RWJ :P

    - Oh god... Youtube.... I don't mind ads all over the site, but having a 15 second ad before every single video is annoying -_-

I've started seeing some 30 second ones.... -.- And sometimes, the video isn't that much longer, I call bullshit!

Also, screw the weird 5 hour energy commercials, not only are they flat out lies, but they are also just STUPID and WEIRD. Though I'll admit, they've improved their commercials and they look more realistic now than they used to.

The commercials are on any video channels that enable them to make money. Typically through Google AdSense (shit) or something similar.

The only people you have control over is yourself. If you want to make a point, leave proper, factual replies.

    HiS Radeon 5870Hd 2gig model
6Gig Kingston Hyper X Tripple channel kit @1066mhz

    And a 1TB Seagate 7200rpm Drive.
    Coolermaster 850W psu.
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I would like to replace the Case because the fans are all switch speed fans.
And the newer 902 has analog dials to control the front intake fans, and the other cases are all controlled digitally.

Looking at Antec 1200 v3 or Cooler master HaF-X.
Or you could just put this in the case you have and save a ton, which is what I plan to be doing soon.

Since it requires using the browser Fx, there sure is. (Not that I see any youtube.ads with the watered down Chrome-version either way)

Started randomly losing power every few mins on my rig today (the whole case would switch off), couldn't figure out why. PSU is basically as good as it gets, everything was connected fine...

So I took the opportunity to take the rig apart and correct my shoddy job with cable management. If anyone has seen a Storm Sniper from the inside you'll know it comes with like 20 little cables from the fan controller, more cables from the 4 x front USB ports + eSata/Firewire, etc just from the case itself, it's crazy. The sniper is also missing the full plated cover that hides all the cables nicely and pokes them through grommets (e.g. like the HAF-X) so it's difficult to hide everything, it's just got a floating motherboard tray but thankfully a TON of room behind it.

After an hour of work this is about as clean as I could get it without getting into the sleeving/modding business.

Oh and the computer stopped randomly shutting off, so I guess I must've fixed...something >_>. Don't you hate it when you don't know what you accidentally fixed??

Never realised that you mount the Asus DirectCU II that way Always thought that the side with the fans would be up.

Always looks like this in the pictures:

Was hopelessly baffled when I saw it the other way around. Looks even better that way though, more sophisticated if you will.

Yeah that's always fun. Sometimes all it takes is just taking something apart then putting it back together (until it stops working again at least )

Err I don't think there's a single graphics card out there that's mounted with the fans facing up.

But for all we know it could have 4 fans, two below it and two above, in sort of push pull configuration, if they only show pictures from one angle :P (Yeah would not work in the end but it could probably fit 4 as it's such an huge card!)

Aanyway, point being, it's hard to change the first impressions you get when you look at the pictures. Even if you knew the fans should be below it, once you've made your mind it's hard to think otherwise. Weird huh o_o
