Just replaced my P8P67 ASUS motherboard with an MSI Z77 MPower, same CPU though, and I got into Windows with 0 issues. After a few hours a "Windows genuine" thingy popped up on the bottom-right, so yeah, you might not need to.

I wouldn't say nothing special. I like it. I like it lots. I'm unsure where to put my finger on it, but it feels kind of.. achieved. You've gotten it to where you wanted it to be. It's a certain level of inherent adult air about it, despite the bookshelves' contents.

Hehe, glad you think so. Blank spot on my wall, thinking of a Man of Steel poster if there's a special one at the midnight IMAX showing, cause that's where I obtain most of my posters, like the Oblivion one. Maybe even a Hobbit Part 2 poster, if Smaug gets his own poster.

Dearest Marest,

I haven't a clue what had come over me to do such a silly job with cable management in the 4th month, but that was another part of the solar system. It is now void of activity, as the planet has moved on, and so too, have we.

All silly kidding aside, have some pictures!

Picked up the Fractal Design Define R4 case yesterday when I returned the MSI Z77 MPower, since I realized my mistake with my power supply cable being loose the other night and thus my old motherboard is working just fine. ^_^

This case was a DREAM to work in! It was very well-thought out, that's for sure! Absolute pleasure. The case looks and feels leagues and bounds beyond the Cooler Master HAF X. I did think the power LED was going to be blue... not red, but oh well, it's still lovely. Installing an extra fan (old Xigmatek orange LED 140mm) in the front spot was a cake-walk. I love the SSD-mounting on the back of the motherboard tray, very well-planned. Surprised they only have two spots for that. I look forward to filling this case up!

Enjoy. (And yes, bad cable management was because of impatience, I just wanted to get it up and running and move on with my life! lol)

At first the white and black dog, Jocko, was a bit scared, but I actually got him to go up and sniff the case and all. (btw, front panel is a massive dog hair magnet!)

But I still dunno why you went for a white case (besides the price deal), it literally doesn't match any of your components, any of your desk layout or...well, anything really. Dog doesn't count -_-

It has crazy good potential to look awesome but only for people who've gone ALL the way with it, e.g. NZXT Havik cooler (or Corsair CLC w/ white rings on fans), white PSU, black/white cable sleeving...and on the outside some AudioEngine A5's (white) + black/white computer chair and black/white desk

Oh and also a Holstein cow in the backyard. You know, to complete the effect (and for milk and stuff).

I must say.. when I heard that you ordered the white version of the R4 I was so skeptical. I thought it'd turn out to be a mess of colours with the copper and black and yellow and stuff but it's not that bad at all. And contrary to what Xuvial said I think the exterior goes pretty well with the desk and peripherals. Although I can't say I like that Asus board but suppose it sort of makes sense to return the MSI if the old one still works...

Oh and I'll just leave this here.
