I have nothing against wearing a decent pair of headphones. Really love the Sennheiser HD598s, powered by my Asgard 2. Sound amazing. A friend of mine who seems to care about bass a little more than myself said they have great bass. lol

It's working great, first time in ages I've had a totally brand new everything. Previously it's always just been upgrades here and there. I'm not running 4K obviously, but GW2 at 5760x1080 with everything maxed and it's anywhere from 100-110fps, GTAV is 100ish with a few things turned off.

NVMe is fast as shit, though it's one of those things that you don't really notice or need lol, but boot up time is astounding.


4K seems a bit fucked on there, but I haven't felt the need to run it again since.

For work I could definitely use 3-4 monitors due to having all sorts of open sessions/etc, monitoring and documents...but for home I have no idea how people use 4 >_<

I went back down to 1 monitor because the 2nd one simply wasn't getting any use.

I was already contemplating it, though not 34s, the Asus 27" 144Hz IPS panels. But my monitor arms wouldn't fit 27s, only have about 2-3 inches at each end of the arms so 3x 24" is about as big as it can handle.

Really like the studio monitors, they look quite nice .

Also nice surge of X99 builds lately it seems :P.

Guess people either got sick of waiting on skylake or found more cores was more important, at least for me more cores mattered then slightly better IPC.

My plan all along was SLI with an NVMe SSD, so the 2011-v3 PCI-E lanes was the key. Still curious what Skylake-E will be.
