Went ahead and took some pictures of the desk area as a whole to update on the new case for my rig. The rig itself can be found HERE.

Once again I'm so terrible when it comes to managing cables in the unimportant areas, clearly. Has a lot to do with lack of patience for the small shit >.>. Should probably read up on some good methods to learn how.

Also really want a better TV mount for a further forward lean if anyone has any suggestions. 42in TV.

Black boxes usually tell a story of what's going on, also according to your links your black box has a window

Yea looking back, I probably should have used another color. It's just black was easiest to match the rest of the room (besides the hardwood floors) and probably the easiest to make a glossy finish, but it attracts pet hair and dust way too easily. I was going to just put a wood finish after sanding it but was worried that it would be too much wood with the hardwood floors. None-the-less, I probably won't be taking it when I move again for several reasons, and the next place I move to is definitely going to have carpet so I'm thinking a wood desk from IKEA, or maybe even the white.

Yeah but that window is such a dust/hair magnet.

I have the same case though, so I got a fairly-good idea of what it looks like

Sent my laptop flying on monday, so building a desktop again since apparantly me and laptops dont get along.

Doing a simple, fairly standard build.

    Intel i7 4970K
    Asus Z97-Pro
    Kingston HyperX Fury 1866mhz 16GB
    Corsair RM750 (silence, hurray!)
    Zotac AMP! Omega GTX 980
    Samsung 250GB 840 EVO
    Corsair Obisidian 450D

Pictures will follow some time later today once I get everything assembled.
Some time next week I will be getting my ROG Swift, some silent fans, watercooling for my cpu etc.

Macbook Pro Retina 2014, with all the ultimate upgrades (2.8 GHz Proc, GPU, etc)

Got my waterblocks on my 980's yesterday.

And re did the loop to fit them

And now i'm done. Bar cable management since I ran out of zip ties.

Isn't there an easier way to get that pipe from gpu to back radiator? It certainly doesn't look cool although working fine

Seems would be better to change those tubes from pc out to where gpu goes into radiator and vice versa for gpu one.

Acrylic is very difficult to work with when you need tight bends in sequence and with no acrylic to spare I wasn't keen to take any risks, easier to make long sweeping bends. It's actually ended up looking pretty good to me, I like the organic/natural look over the industrial straight edge style.

Hmm, from the angle of the photo it seems easier the way i described it, you need less or equal bending. Ie the one coming out of cpu would go straight with one right angle and your done. Similar for gpu.

Some really strange acrylic loops, but it looks like a fun project.

The way it's coming from the CPU to the rad to the GPU, while excessive, I think it looks kind of a clean excessive. I like!

My new rig up and running.
Some stuff still missing, like proper cooling. But its a good start.

Finally got around to making a "custom" desk that fits perfectly. Still some work to be done in regards to cable management and the like.

Overall fairly pleased, as you can see I need to get some skirtingboards down by the floor. Also going to mount a TV above the ROG swift for PS4 gaming from the couch on the wall behind the desk
