Yesterday I went to Ulduar 10 and finally got my drake, and of course after we did 1light we headed to Algalon. Since none of us had done the fight before or even seen it, we spent some time looking up the fight then started at it. When we first engaged we noticed the timer wasn't showing up, but not to give us false hope we operated under the assumption that we still only had one hour. After a bunch of disconnects and wipes we were getting him to about 25% with just plain zerging, 4 people doing 15k dps and just getting one star down for the only big bang that was going to happen and ignoring constellations all together. We soon realized after our flasks fell off that he wasn't going anywhere and quickly finished the fight about 10 minutes after he was supposed to leave (once the pressure of him disappearing was gone it seemed much easier).
TL;DR: Alg can be zerged to the point you can ignore his mechanics and you no longer have a time limit on killing him, does he even deserve the title "The Raid Destroyer" anymore?
