It's easy, just watch out for the spellbomb debuff, dont cast any spells when you have it, or you'll kill yourself.

You can solo both of the tbc 5man mount bosses.
Only died to trashmobs while getting to the bosses, never the bosses themselves.

Was farming Sethekk and MGT every day since Anzu wasnt needed to be summoned anymore. Eventually it dropped, followed by the White Hawkstrider just after.
Was never lucky in ZG, too bad they are gone now :/

Do only Druid HoTs work on the 3 birds or any hots? Once you keep them activated and get a damage debuff on the mobs, a haste buff on yourself and a ticking aoe aura on the enemies it's pretty easy.

I just can't think of how annoying that spell bomb must be...

The boss is a piece of cake as a shadow. I'm doing it frequently with my warlock (affliction) and have no problems at all. So if you cannot kill him as a shadow, you're either in bad gear or doing something terribly wrong.

Shadow priests and affliction warlocks are the same spec and class. Yes...

It's not too hard.
1. Just place all your dot's on him
2. keep your shield up.
3. When he does Spellbomb, just stand there.
4. When he summons the birdies out, try to get a Vamp touch on as many as you can.
5. When he paralyzing screeches (And there are still birdies up) use dispersion.
6. Rinse and repeat one more time
7. Hope he likes you and drops the Mount!
