You can unfortunately run up and over the sides of the wall, and jump.
However, the gate can be a great defensive point even as people try to jump over it, especially if they're flagged right after killing all the quest givers in the S.Barrens.

If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight!
Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting then you do, pal! Because he invented it, and perfected it so no living man could best him in the ring of honor.

any reason why the old road is being block by a giant ass wall? any lore behind it.

No need for a zepplin or for dying and rezzing inside, etc. Like several other have said just go to the end of the gate and go around
Knock?
So the Alliance can build a massive high-way through the center of Kalimdor, connecting their two major ports on the continent. Not sure what other major part they're talking about, but I assume they mean one of the Elf ones.
But the Ogres and Grimtotem are stopping the construction anyway.

all I did was approach the wall, walk to the side of the wall where it merges with the mountains, and walk right by it. there wasn't even any wall climbing to be done. just. walk. around.
kind of useless wall, but it does seem to be deflecting big fat siege weapons well enough. despite being made of wood...
oh and the side that I used was on the right side when facing towards the wall on the barrens side.
The way to get past the Wall is to roll a tauren :P
I imagine the passes in the wall exist merely as utility for players trying to cross. Although any alliance general would be foolish to tunnel their troops single file through the pass. Of course that doesn't include players, who could surge through on top of each other,
I went around it, there's an opening on one of the sides you can jump over.
First you must enter the 3rd layer of dreaming...
really? i gave a legitimate answer as in using the zeplin as for the rest under me i see none helpful.
