Hey, i'm thinking about making some PvP videos but don't know which class to base it on. What is your favourite class to watch?
Depends entirely on the skill level of the player. All classes have entertainment value.
Personally, I love watching destrolocks.
Start trying to work out who deserves what, and before long you’ll spend the rest of your days weeping for each and every person in the world.
Not so much PvP but I've been loving the priest's PoVs in raids.
You have all of them?
Priest for me, both Shadow and Disc.
Least favourite - rouge. Running in circles on sprint and zooming on Crits is annoying(and that's what all rouges do).
I guess Warrior/Rogue/Destrolock are the most watched ( since the most vids that come out are one of those ) i personally like the Rogue class. But that's because i roll it. I advice you to play the class you like. And become good at it. Then post video's.
Most of the famous people have their own class. and play for fun.
i prefer any video aslong as it is a skilled player i don't like these ones were all they post are there victorie shots of there Kills with zoomed up crits to "let the bodys hit the floor" i have seen a few informative ones like a druid solo flag running switching forms depending on whats going on and killing others that do try attack them with actualy skillls using defencive and ofencive abilites.
Also so a cool one of a rogue showing total lock down of plate classes it showed alot of things and skills not once did he focus on his crits which were well off to the side it was only his missd shots that actualy showed up and brought attention to them in the video because depending on what hit and missd was what move was next
I'm a little ninja, short and stout I take all the loot and I hearthstone out All the guys on teamspeak scream and shout I'm the warrior in full devout.
any complex class or a class that has a lot of options or takes 'more skill' is obviously best. I'd personally say warrior/rogue and maybe a DK or priest can be interesting.
I think I like watching a good boomkin and how they work. There big, funny, and can knock out tons of damage well still looking funny.
"The beginning of wisdom is the statement 'I do not know.' The person who cannot make that statement is one who will never learn anything. And I have prided myself on my ability to learn."
If its about pvp youll have to talk any melee you can find. Warriors are fast paced, have a lot of different playstyles they use and they are not based on CCing til the enemy is dead like rogues are.
If its just watching in general I like enhancement. They glow around a lot, have nice non-offensive spells (ghostwolf, totems, heals) and are pretty mobile while still able to CC a bit.
so for pvp id suggest warrior or enhancement shaman. Casters tend to "rock" with high numbers rather than movement. get away -> cast. Its like watching a porno movie and they would take a break every few seconds to catch breath
warrior, mage, aggressive disc priests.
Boomkins should be fun to watch tho if well played.
nothing beats looking at a highly skilled Rogue imo
Choose the class u are best with people like watching good skilled play more thenn mediocre with a more interesting class
An enhancement shaman can look pretty epic when they run in, drop all their totems, start spinning around melee'ing the target to death with lightning flying around everywhere, then instantly change into a wolf and run away.
Will look very good in a well edited movie.
Stance-dancing arms warrior (i.e. one who uses every tool in their disposal) > Rogue > SV or MM Hunter > Mage.
But tbh, it doesn't matter terribly as long the player is highly skilled at what they do. My preference is definitely for non-"hybrid"/self-healing classes. Nothing beats that seat-of-the-pants feeling of good pures using all their large number of tools to outsurvive while totally melting faces at the same time.
Set it to good music with perfect editing to time phases in the music with the action, and it often becomes an unforgettable video which causes people to re-reroll classes or even (re-)start WoW!
Here's one good (recent) example - there are many even better:

If you want to make a Player Versus Player movie you must mind these things:
> If you don't know how to record/edit a video.
- Watch tutorials, You can really learn from these.
- I advice you strongly to watch the tutorials from Gary Hartmann, He really helped me with making PvP Videos.
- Test your quality, framerate and editting skills before uploading your final video, Having a fully and well editted video is way more fun to watch.
> If you want to use Speech in your videos.
- Have an avarage to good microphone, Not too noisy.
- Don't have a too bad voice, None would like to hear some worse voice.
- Try to keep it natural, Don't overact with the jokes if you do make them. Some players go too far.
> Music
- If you don't use speech then music is a must. Without it, again, it's hard to watch.
- Do not use Music which has been used over a million times, The songs get boring and therefore, again, makes it hard to watch.
- Try to use music which like everyone likes.
> PvP
- Have a clean UI, If it's messy it ruins the video
- Have enough footage for making a video.
- Vary in the videos, Don't let us watch to Arena's 24/7, or atleast not the same fights
- Keybind, Clickers automaticly get downrated and flamed.
- Start making a pvp movie if you're truly good. or atleast near good.
- Practice practice practice.
> Ofcourse
- Ofcourse you can make PvP videos when you're not that good, But you will probably get flamed/downrated.
> Most important
- Have fun while doing it, It makes your work better.
