Quick question about Heirloom items

Just a quick question:
Is it (already) possible to send heirloom items to your own characters on another server?

For example if I'd want to send heirloom items from my main on Sylvanas to my alt Gohuna on Dentarg, how would I write the address name in the mail?

I think i read that blizz said that its considered, but that its complicated to fix cross server mail. So my guess is that its not high on the to do list.
