Southpaw (2015) - 7/10
A good boxing movie with great performances and great boxing matches, but with an average and cliche plot, and when it went downhill for him, it came quite close to becoming sad porn. Also, apparently big sport-stars and other people working in the entertainment business have horrendously unstable economies.

Brilliant film. I love how cold the character is. Everybody is expendable and usable to achieve whatever it is he wants at the time. And it doesn't fall to any cliche endings thankfully. I'm surprised a movie on the subject of a night time news camera man could be so interesting.

The Fantastic 4 (2015) 2/10

Terrible movie, worst Marvel film so far. The runtime was too short. There wasn't enough focus on there powers, it hardly had any action. The only fight scene at the end lasted like 5 minutes. The only thing I liked about the movie was that it was dark and gritty.

Ant-Man 7/10

I wasn't feeling it for awhile but the film picked up and eventually sold me on the shrinking superhero. You definitely see Edgar Wright's fingerprints on it and I think it's the funniest MCU film to date. Some of the action sequences were pretty brilliant. Unfortunately Marvel still hasn't resolved its villain problem as this one was ultimately forgettable as well. It had some hokey, cheesy bits scattered about that took it out of Cap 2 level of excellence.

Good film and I could see liking it more on second viewing.

The Young Montalbano ("Il giovane Montalbano" (original title)

8/10, a series from 2012 about a detective in Italy, Sicily. Yes it's fully in italian but it's subtitled and i find it to be clean spoken italian what makes it very enjoyable to watch, plus i find the whole italian attitude to be very well displayed what gives it a contributing value, especially considering that the actors are all good. A very interesting detective series to watch as it takes place in smaller towns, no big city stuff as all those played to ad nausea CSI shows. It's realistic with believable crimes, realistic solutions and crime solving and well build relationships between characters.

What again displays that non english TV series can be of high quality. Ironically enough this aired on national television here. Sadly there appears to be only one season with 6 episodes but if the first episode is anything to go by it is almost 2 hours per episode, as i said well build, nothing rushed.

Terminator : Genisys. 9/10

Wow. Easily making up for the horror that was Terminator Salvation, this is a fantastic movie. Loads of little nods and inside jokes from the rest of the franchise, and a great reboot (not something I say often), Emilia Clarke comes across as a very believable Sarah Connor, However I found Jai Courtney's Portail of Kyle Reese to be a little lack luster with his "wtf is going on, this is not what is meant to be happening" attitude through most of the first half. Was so glad I never watched the trailers before going, absolutely awesome movie when you have no idea what it's about (and watched T1 and T2 a lot)... especially that first half.

Only thing I really found... lazy about that movie (and TONS of others, Ant-man just did the EXACT same except for the spoiler part) was they did the good old classic "hey, we have a super-important-thing to release worldwide soon, what shall we do? I have a perfect idea, let's store the only existing copy in a building where we're also building tons of unstable stuff including a time machine and trying to copy T1000 tech". All that in an age where it's easier to copy files to the other side of the world than to get up from my desk to get a coffee, makes perfect sense.

Yeah, have to agree going in blind was the best thing to do, deliberately stayed away from trailers regarding the movie and I am so glad I did. I did not see what happened coming until it actually happened. Think I actually said out loud "woooha, they did what ????" Doing the exact same for Starwars (as much as possible that is)

Shoulda seen Mission Impossible instead. Heck, I was supposed to go see F4 with my dad and cousins, but after the reviews came out, I changed my mind and decided to rewatch MI5.
