    The Green Room

Yeah, I don't see movies very often.

    10/10

It was awesome. Gave me shivers. Made me care about the characters. Made me cry. It's hard to put into words, but I was thinking about it for the next week, no joke!
    "A flower.
Yes. Upon your return, I will gift you a beautiful flower."

"Remember. Remember... that we once lived..."

    Couldn't get 20 minutes in.

Seriously, do not watch, do not attempt to watch, don't even look it up.

Deadpool - 6/10 it was good but I've seen better. I liked the current day parts but I found some of the origin story to be a bit tedious.

    The Nice Guys (2016) - 7/10
An enjoyable action-comedy in the same vein as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I only recently watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and while I thought it was okay, I wasn't as enthused by it as some other people were. I didn't think it was as funny as others probably would find it, and I found the plot hard to follow and convoluted. The Nice Guys one-ups it by having a plot that is easier to follow and thereby get invested in, and in my opinion, it was also funnier. The humor is still not completely in my wheelhouse, and a lot of people find or will find this movie funnier than I do. Still, Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling made for a good duo, and it was in a strange way kind of cozy to watch. I recommend checking it out.

After weeks of listening to Sicario's AMAZING ost, I finally had to watch the movie.

    8.5/10
    - Predictable plot, call for action, and 'twist.
    - Blunt, Del Toro, and Brolin's acting is what really amped up the suspense and tension rather than the events occurring.
    - the extra (.5) for having an amazing, atmospheric, dark ambient type OST

If you didn't go into the movie prepared, you never stood a chance.

    Warcraft - The Beginning

Eeeehhh the critics are right, I hate to admit it but they are right, but I love WoW so much and it was so fun to see everything in action that I really liked the movie regardless. Liked how similar it was to the WoW cinematics in looks and in that department it was exactly what I was hoping for, but in other areas it's lacking in, well, quality so to speak. My heart still wants to give it an 8/10, I want more Warcraft, but this just wasn't the best story or the best actors. CGI was pretty awesome, the orcs and the magic looked fantastic but eh... Not sure if people who haven't played the games would love it, from their POV maybe this is a 6/10 or a 7/10, and if they're not too fan of fantasy in general it's gonna look like a complete mess.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of The Shadows 7.5/10

Still not perfect but a lot better than the last movie. There's more focus on the Turtles and more interactions between them, Bebop and Rocksteady are awesome. The score is amazing, The cinematography is a lot better.

Watched it tonight. A great movie all around, unfortunately the general setting of the movie was very uninteresting to me (I don't care much about crime, even more so drug crime). But the quality of the movie was great, if the setting had been something different it would have been a 10/10 movie

yea the plot was bland, simple, could be explained in a couple of sentences.

The main female's character is quite dull too, not too much development (other than the cigarette lol) but Emily Blunt absolutely saved that character and really made her unique.

Looking forward to the Sequel as well that will focus on Del Toro's history or something like that

    Zoolander 2 - 8/10

Felt true to the original, two of the jokes where Derek gets an acronym/abbreviation wrong felt forced, but other than that it was great. some of the jokes were reused, but they didn't feel cheesy or forced, they felt appropriate. Definitely had a larger budget and didn't take ages to make like the original.

One of the best scenes was ruined if you watched the trailers. This is the one movie where I made that mistake mistake since the trend of spoilers in trailers began :/

    Gods of Egypt - 6/10

Ignore the white washing, it doesn't matter. I went in thinking it would be awful, but it was a decent movie for what it was. At times it had an old school feel during scenes where you could tell they were in front of a giant screen (like people sitting in cars and behind them is a screen showing cars going by). The CGI in some parts was nice to look at, especially the scenes involving space and Ra. I still rewatch the scenes of him battling the massive demon worm thing

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi - 6.75/10

Decent movie for what it was (a break-out movie for John Krasinski) an unusual cast too; 'Pornstache' from Orange is the New Black, both men Pam Beasley had a relationship with in The Office, and the nerd Jesse Pinkman headshot in Breaking Bad. I enjoyed the concept of them having to be incredibly unsure when it came to shooting/trusting people.

She was actually supposed to have a topless scene (presumably in the shower) which was why she was in the movie, but she and Benicio Del Toro talked the director out of it. I'm not implying she can't act, she can, but that's not why she was chosen for the movie. It was likely to get her topless post-pregnancy.

And I'm assuming the only reason her character had everything explained to her was so the audience would understand.

Oi! Bloody best fockin' comedy I've seen for ages and the most English movie I've ever seen. Sacha Baron Cohen's best work since Borat. Absolutely hilarious.

Literally the worst shit I've seen in about two or three years. How can people watch and even enjoy (some even praise) this shit?! I'm literally speechless.

I really tried to like it more but I can see why the critics hate it.
