Lack of worgen mount solution

So, someone makes a thread as a joke? And then people come in an call it alliance QQing? Or did people just not get it? Does it really matter so much that you have to start typing abuse at everyone?

While I am ok with Running Wild, I thought it would have been awesome if Worgen got some kind of strange shape shifting mount too.

Here's how it would work: for Worgen players in human form, the mount would be a horse. When the player is in Worgen form, the horse would shapeshift into something else...maybe a monster horse/wolf hybrid, something scary looking. Other races could get the same mount, but its form would be determined randomly when they summoned it. For example, one summons could give you a Gilnean horse, the next one would give you a monster mount. Lorewise you could pretend it was a Gilnean warhorse that was bitten by a Worgen, hence the shapechanging.

I think the alliance are going to get a couple of extra mounts to make up for the ones the gobs get.

I love the fact that Worgens act has their own mount, its a great idea and props for Blizzard for thinking out of the box, and maybe some of the children that are moaning for not having an extra rep mount move to Hord, its a win win situation for me.

Really, worgen do not need a mount simply because it would make the so called balance between horde and alliance mount uneven. Really, do you want a recolored bear/cat/whatnot just because it'll make your 100 mount achievement easier?

Personally no, I'm a lover of diversity. If there were 100 different kinda of mounts, I'd LOVE it. Sadly there are not, so we must take what we can get. Unfortunately as an Alliance, we get 5 racially different mounts, and then all the communal mounts Alliance and Horde get. Horde get 6 racial mounts.

As a practitioner of diversity, I object.

running wild is amazing. but jokes aside, i kinda miss the wolf/pig/horse/mole/rat from the concept art...they said that it would not make sense,since guilneans are humans, but i desagree. we could just have said that they were farm animals mutated by the curse or something.

Slightly off topic, what kind of mounts would the worgen be using then? These were originally humans of Gilneas, and humans use horses, which we already have.

I'm not sure what the mount was exactly, when they showed the sketch at blizzcon 09 descriptions varied as to what it really was.

as i said, mutated (by the very worgen curse) horses or hogs. but im fine with rw.
wow is seriously lacking a massive and armored wild hog as a mount.

We have a mount. Its the most unique and interesting of any. Its freaking awesome.
