    Digital Pre-Sale?

    Hello, I just bought online version of Cata pre order and I logged into the game to start the download but no download started? How do I know if its started?

    How do you know if you have the files ?
    Is it a simple file in there by any chance that I can just copy between computers ? or going to be fucked like everything after the new launcher

    Yep. Or go into your laucher file and force change accounttype = "CT" but logging in and out will do the same thing.

    I believe everyone has the Cataclysm Data already downloaded. Would make sense as you need it to continue to do anything in 30 hours. Then again when I pre-ordered mine I didn't download anything either but for the next day when I was playing the streaming download icon was sitting in the top middle of the screen so perhaps Blizzard is using it's new streaming technology to push the download to the players.

    But one could argue that everyone does have the Data, Blizzard probably has already pushed all of the Data and everything that's left will most likely be phased in with a small patch (Guild, Professions, etc) on Launch Day.

    PS: my launcher still has the "LK" in it's configuration file (.wtf) after manually changing it to "CT" as the above poster (Heywes) mentioned nothing changed, no download started, etc. (I online upgraded my account on the Battle.net site a few days ago).
