Yes but i got through within 5 minutes, keep trying. Dont refresh but keep typing www.battle.net rather then just refreshing.

Just decided that I want to buy Cataclysm after all ( I actually wanted to quit WoW, but meh)
And now I can't buy it because the site is down....
Do you think the site is overloaded rather than just down? both make sense now.

Must just be down for EU. Thats a bad business decision on their part to bring it down a couple hours before release. They should have expected people to want to pay for race changes or old players wanting to come back and therefore needing to resubscribe their account.

The process you indicated makes no difference, because your browser sends the same "GET" command, whether you type the address in every single time, or if you simply hit refresh. Originally Posted by Waterspark
