Did it really just install that quickly?

I just got back and the game installed in under approx. ten minutes. For some reason I expected it to be longer. I feel like I'm missing something?

Much of the content was included in the patches, stuff like oh the whole shattering etc. I think thats why.

If your game client was up to date, you already had the data installed. The disc just undid 4.0.3 and 4.0.3a and then reinstalled them.

You probably had most of Cataclysm downloaded already with 4.0.1 or .3 or somesuch.

Yeah. I didnt know that you didnt have to put the physical DVD in either. So it did whatever it did, which was quick. Then I had to download something. Launcher says world of warcraft is up to date, so I guess the "problem" fixed itself.
