Quick question on Felguards

I'm levelling an old lock alt while I wait for Cata (won't be able to buy it for a week QQ) and have gone Demo.

What I was wondering was the process by which Felguards learn new abilities - apparently he's supposed to have Felstorm by lvl45 (according to Wowhead and Wowpedia) but it's not on the bars and not in my spellbook. I'm just about to hit 46. Is there something I'm missing?

First of all, Felguard is an awesome pet to lvl with. A bit OP at 80? But might be balanced at lvl 85?

You should have the ability in the pet spellbook, did you check there? Pet spells are not together with your own spells.
