Underwater World not really that much fun.

Am I alone in this world? - It's not fun, does this mean Cataclysm won't be fun? I don't like the 3d underwater world, the upside down boats are just annoying. Should I just be patient and wait it out a bit. Why? its supposed to amaze me from the start.

You don't like one of the zones therefore the expansion must suck. Logic.

I personally think its the best zone they've made. I love it.

Classic case of "cant please everyone". Go to hyjal.

So I guess I am alone then in thinking this.

I actually really like it, it took me some time to get used to, but it's pretty fun imo. Especially as a druid with aquatic form, it goes as fast as the seahorse mount :P

It's a good zone, once you get past the fact that your server is likely filled with douche bags that have absolutely no concern for other players.

Just like every other aspect of this game, the people that play it are by far the worst part.

I think the zone is incredible. It's quite a change over the normal stuff we all have been enduring.

Like Barlow (german wow player who makes a lot of fun about the classes and mechanic) said about Nexus already:

"When you know the orientation sense of a common wow player in a 2D instances, how can they survie in 3D where you have to fight?"

And now you have a whole are for that players.

I had no problems in this area and it was really something different. I liked it a lot. The 3D thing didnt come out that often.

I only hope that you are no pilot.

If you arent able to lvl through this zone, take hyjal and hop that there are no 3D flight or sim fights in this game. Also hope that you dont have to go out into space as long as you live.

    Not really..
I'm no big fan of Underwater zones/things/whatever.. :/
Took Hyjal first, going to that zone sooner.
XP > Feel of the zone. (at least for the first time I level through the zones xD)

It is a fun place to quest in when you're already level 85 or if you're bored. It is not a practical zone for leveling 80-85 asap though. The areas are way too big that even a 450% speed mount makes it tedious. Like i said though, i encourage people to go back to it at 85 because it is pretty fun when there is no rush and no people.

I hit 85 a while ago and i'm going back to do quests in uldum because i skipped it and heard it is a great zone.

I thoroughly enjoyed Vash as a zone it had so much new that it made questing seem fun for once. Just wish it could of lasted all the way to 85. Good fun in all way, wont please everyone i guess but hey thats the way things go.

Vashjir is one of the most awesome zones in WOW, both in questing and design . Finished half of it and I must say that for once I actually got content comparable to any single player RPGs out there.
