Hows Cataclysm working out for you?

    As the title suggests.
I should be going on it this weekend when my new laptop comes through, and I'd like to see some of your opinions. (cant wait)

    How are the new zones?
    The battlegrounds?
    The quests etc?

As Interrogator Vishas would say; "Tell me, tell me everything!"

I haven't done any battlegrounds, but if you ask me, the new zones and quests are awesome. I'm having tons of fun leveling.

Lots of references and fun stuff in the quests. I love it.

    abselutely loving it.

It's fun, the quests are so good, and it's so damn pretty. I just can't stop playing it and after 1year of ICC this feels like a heavy weight lifted of my shoulders.

    Awesome stuff.

I'm very interested in this new 'capture the flag' battleground, Twin Peaks.
    It looks amazing!

(I only PvP sometimes, but still.)

I agree, it is very well done, the zone are breath taking you will see yourself just stopping and enjoying the amazing design they put into them. The quests are fun as hell, lots of phasing which makes it feel like the things you are doing actually help and change the world around you. Haven't pvp'd yet (i'll get into that once i get to 85). I have only been into Throne of the Tides and Blackrock Caverns and they are fairly easy (if your stacked with icc gear) but alot of fun and worth doing. Overall the game is freakin awesome, they did a fantastic job and I'm very happy with it. I feel bad for you not being able to get it in you right away... don't worry, its worth the wait man fashow...

It's very nice, a lot of humour is added to the quests. Zones are really well made, flying in the old world is awesome, archeology is fun. I see no cons yet.

In a way, I'm glad I cant get on straight away.

I should get on when the server wait isnt that huge and when the leveling zones arent as crowded.

(Thats what I keep telling myself. D: )

Vortex Pinnacle is by far my favorite dungeon so far.... Was hoping it would take a bit longer to level but other than that no gripes. Smooth transition from Wrath to Cata with almost no down time except for the no XP glitch in the US

I'm genuinely enjoying myself. Haven't really looked at the xp bar at all, I'm just having fun doing the quests and world pvp.

I've heard you have to find the dungeons before you can start queueing for them, is this true?

    If it is, AWESOME.

This poll needs a good option. I don't think Cata so far is amazing, but its far from meh.
And there is nothing awesome about having to find the dungeon entrances before you can queue for them. Its a hassle that WoW didn't need.
I'm going to do some real damage!

See, I never think of this BEFORE I make a poll.

    Sorry bud.

I'm sure it would be great if there wasn't lag in the new areas from the thousand other people trying to do the same quests, or the 1500 person queue to play the game. All I can really talk about is Archeology, which is meh.

Yes this is true. The first thing I did when I hit Uldum (aside from getting out of the cage) was fly south to discover both dungeon entrances. If you go through the zones and quest properly you eventually pickup a quest that leads to every dungeon though.

Oh wow, I drooled a little.

    Thats a great idea!
I love the idea of actually FINDING the place you are about to charge into and slaughter mindless people / elementals in!
