Does anybody know if this reward from Archeology is 100% obtainable or is there a % chance that you will get it? This weapon would be the only motivation i would have to lvling archeology so i would like to know before i lvl it. Thanks

You will most likely get it at some point. It ain't a 100% drop when you do the "survey"-thingie it takes. But if you keep on doing it, you will get it.

It is 100% obtainable, but it's a random chance that you'll get it as your next project. it's in Troll i'm pretty sure

I'll have to disappoint you a little.

Archaeology is pretty random when you find things, and rare items are really .. rare.

Done around 75 artifacts here, of which 3 were rare. You can't control which ones and you can (speculative) get the same rare again. So it could take ages to get the specific item you want since you have no way to control it.

Even further.. archaeology takes a very long time to level. At 375 skill now, i've spent 20 hours of /played or so.
