I think we all expected it at some point, but i'm just super damn happy I don't have to drop my current professions, I've wanted this mount so damn bad since they announced it, the ability to turn into a dragon as opposed to ride one is pretty much any lore freaks dream fucking mount, so well done blizz.

I honestly wonder why it took them so long. This is a change that should have been made in beta.

There is no other gold sink for Cataclysm.

Gold sink mounts should always be BoE OR all profession mounts should be gold sink mounts.

Yeah, that is sad to see. I hope this isn't the start of Blizzard listening to "whiners" again and even maybe remove the BoP on the carpets . Since I feel that all professions should have unique "cool" things, not just the boring 1 socket worth of bonus.

It could stay like the carpet mount and require maxed alch to use, but still be able to be sold to others

I agree professions should have unique things, I think a flying carpet or engineering mount are great as they aren't that special, however this is just too unique, too cool to be BoP. I think with something like this you would find a lot of people dropping their profs for alchemy and that's something blizz would never want.

I don't know what to think about this.
I'm kinda upset because i spent about 30 hours with this useless profession archeology last week for this mount when i could have just farmed herbs to get the money.
but on the other hand i'm kinda glad i can still get it even if i never finde the recipe myself

Actually, im pretty sure engineers are the only prof. to have an exclusive mount (heli)...along with tons of other cool things like jeeves and teleporters and trinkets etc...just sayin.

I would understand it being alchemy only if it was like the carpet equivalent, but considering it is the only 2 seater flying mount besides the RAF mount makes this change justified
