I assume you're a feral? You got fixed actually. Your bleeds were ticking for more than intended and got brought down to the level of other dps classes. Stealth nerfs suck though, it'd be nice if they would just include the info when they post the bug fixes for the day (see Holy Pally post regarding the nerf - not included in the bug fixes, but then talked about elsewhere). I think the playerbase would be a LOT happier if they would at least just include the info instead of slipping it in quietly and not saying anything....

Even being a bug fix it's still a huge nerf. a 1-2k dps nerf when we're just competitive is huge

Omintron defense sytem (10 man normal) last night - pretty much fault free rotation with feral cat charges between bosses at 50 boss energy - 16,389 DPS.
Omintron defense system (10 man normal) tonight - pretty fault free rotation and uptime here aswell - 12,300 DPS.

Group setup was the same both raids.

Conclusion: It's not a 1-2k DPS loss, it's more along the lines of a 3-4k DPS loss. A bit harsh if you ask me, as I wasn't really doing more DPS then equally geared and skilled fury warriors, enhancement shamans, hunters, warlocks and balance druids. Now on the other hand, I'm way below them, by the end of the fight.

On singletarget my DPS is even more horrible, as ODS really favors ferals, that can keep their old bleeds ticking on the last boss while jumping to the newly activated one.

Little more useful if you represent it by a percentage. E.g., in your case, it's quite close to a 25% nerf. However, in order to really make it clear we'd need to see parses of the two fights, since simple things like "Fight took 20 seconds longer" can mean a significant shift in numbers.

Afraid I didn't save any logs - I'm sure other feral druids are experiencing the exact same thing though.

No worries. I'm sure the details will shake out soon enough. I was just nitpicking about correcting scorch109 on the "1-2k vs. 3-4k" thing... Maybe it's only a 1-2k for him.

    Edit: Finished name.

The nerf (if true) is almost 100% because of the insane damage feral bleeds were doing in pvp, on a shaman with 1300 resil, feral bleeds are ticking for a constant 10k+

I figured this would happen when the arena season started. There was a group in my guild that already managed to get a lot of the off set pieces going as feral/frost mage. It's just a little too spikey for what they originally intended with Cataclysm and they want people to be healable, but they also want the healer to run out of mana. So fights will last a few minutes rather than a few seconds.

It looks like Rake was nerfed. It was roughly 30% of my damage yesterday, which I thought was high, considering Rip accounted for roughly 25%. I have a mastery trinket, so I figured Rake was getting more of the benefit, but that must have been wrong. My Rake damage is now back where it was below Rip.

Of course, this is just anecdotal, but I've seen about a 8-10% drop on the target dummy.

1300 resil is like the old 200 imo

you need more resilience before you can say it's working correctly

Funny because on geared pvp players with my Mastery being 20% my bleeds were ticking 6-9k crits at most on a fully geared pvp player. People just like to pull random numbers out sometimes.

full pvp geared people is 1300 resilliance right now, and on my hunter, i am getting hit for above 10k at a constant pace before this nerf.

    Classes Druids
    • Rake will no longer receive twice the benefit from the Feral druid Mastery Razor Claws.
    I guess that explains it.

Bleeds were ridiculous in PvP. You can't even deny it.

    It´s a fix, and they told us. I don´t see a problem.

I posted about this before. Bleeds for Druids were broken, and apparently it took a new Arena season for Blizzard to finally get around to fixing it. The screwed up thing is that it took so long for Blizzard to even admit that there was a problem. How many other Druid abilities are hiding broken mechanics like this?

Also rofl at the "we needed to prepare" posts. Are you kidding? You knew your bleeds were doing way WAY too much damage. Why pretend that you were clueless about it? Let me guess, you really thought YOU were that good. Paladins suffer from this same mentality. Look at their recent nerfs. Numbers don't lie, even if players lie to themselves.

ps, I won't bother to reply to your pointless rebuttals. There is no rebuttal for being fixed. Commence butthurt druid responses.
