I got my ZG raptor first time I ever killed bloodlord, then I also got the swift white hawkstrider on like 10 kills :d and the stonecore drake while doing my first normal there

Was doing normal stone core in a guild group on my Death Knight. At about 2% the server dies. I log back in and for some reason he hasnt reset. Noone else had relogged yet and i finished the bastard off. The mount dropped, but for some buggy reason i was the only one allowed to roll on it!

Time-Lost Proto Drake - Found him while leveling at the very start of Wrath. I was one of the first in Storm Peaks, most avoided the area in the start and went to Icecrown after grinding Sholazar I think.
I just got to K3 and seen this big green Proto flying not so high off the ground and noticed it was rare. I thought "Woot, I'll get my Frostbitten achieve". Killed it with very little effort and when it died I was devitated I didn't get my achieve.. Looted and seen the Reins of the Time-Lost Proto Drake and nearly died. I looked into it a bit more and found out just how rare it was a few months down the line and this is where my rare spawn addiction began.. I have since camped him, and killed him, on 4 alts.

Aeonaxx (Phospherecent Stone Drake) - Ofcoarse when I heard about this during the Beta I knew this would be another camping session. Far more brutal, beasted to Deepholm on the day of Release, I though I was there 1st, I was not though.
I seen Aeonaxx already mounted and eventually the guy failed to kill it and Aeonaxx despawned. I was not too impressed, he never knew about how rare it was supposed to be and claimed he just found it while starting quests in the area. Turns out he got there around 10 mins before me.. Got it in the end though after 2 more people failed to kill it before I got my chance. Got it on the 4th of January.

Grey Riding Camel - I knew of this but it seemed too random for me to camp, with the whole statue turning to dust thing and that I couldn't face doing it.
Randomly mining in Uldum and Npc Scan goes off, it was the figurin. I locaited it ( after around 2 mins of searching, too small!). Clicked it and got sent to Dormus. 1 Statue is all it took, extreme luck. That was on the 5th of January. 2 of the luckiest days in WoW for me (Day after Aeonaxx).
Happy days.

While Polar Bear - Got it on my 2 day of doing the daily, very lucky.

Not nearly as epic as you guys, but after crying about no luck with the new "bag"-system, I got a pink love rocket. To this date I haven't seen another one on my server, and it feels weird.

Got Aeonaxx as my 100th mount 2 hours ago, whole story is up on wowhead aeonaxx page, quite interesting one.

Blue Drake: First bag to drop in Occulus after they put it in.
Black Drake: Rolled a 99
Time-Lost Proto: Found it while afk in Storm Peaks. I was in the other room coloring with my daughter when NPC went off. I figured it was just Vyragosa, but I checked and lo and behold it was TLPD.

Back in TBC I ran SH to help a druid friend for his quest and did not expect the mount to drop at all. It was a run full of old guildies and it was my first run into heroic SH so I decided what the hell.
I ended up rolling 100 on the Raven Lord mount and never did heroic SH again! I can honestly say I got the raven lord mount in TBC!

My buddy was farming the turtle, and had been at it for about 2 months. One Friday after ICC I decided to get me a turtle, and I was riding one in about half an hour. I also have the green proto on two characters, and got the raven lord on my first try.

damn my mage has had some terrible luck until recently, took a while to get hawkstrider, raven lord, turtle and all tht jazz, over a year or dailys for polar bear, around ~600 runs in strath for the dethcharger, 10 months for green proto.....

then cata drops, hit 85, and solo H UP bam blue proto, rocked tht for a while, then got a couple guildies to do an ony with me. they just wanted achieve and said theyd happily pass the mount to me if it dropped, which we all know is one of the lowest drop rates.

this was about a month ago, on a sunday, 3 man it, nothing. on the reset the following tuesday, brought another mage friend along for the many whelps cheev. BAM mount. didnt even have to roll against em for it, even though i rolled a 94. i literally almost shit my pants and have forgotten the terrible luck with rivendare.

my hunter dings 85 right, time to start doin mount runs, polar bear in 2 days, hawkstrider and raven lord in like 4/5 days
and i think to myself damn, this toons lucky......ill do one loop of strath runs just for the hell of it. first run, bam dethcharger....

ive since been going for blue proto/green proto on him with no luck, going to start tryin to solo ony/TK soon.
