Healers... I now know how you feel.

When I was leveling my Rogue for the most part I always had a healer/tank and sometimes a guild DPS with me. Dinged 85 a few days in with some questing on the side in Deepholm and Twilight, but for the most part farmed instances..

Anyway, been leveling my Sham & Warrior the past few days now that I'm done with heroics...and oh my god. Can really see what the healers have been QQ'ing about recently per PUGs, I haven't been having mana problems yet cause I'm only level 82 - but I feel for you guys, it's bad. Really was hoping that somewhere along the line people would learn not to stand in shit. Hell, they had to do that in Lich King. Guess I'll hold out hope...

    Thank you.

Also, speaking of Lich King, there are so many "Kingslayers" who are TERRIBLE. It makes me sad.

Yes, healing is quite a pain when people stand in fires... And boy they stand in fires often in Cata dungeons...

FINALLY someone who agrees on this one! I guess "Kingslayer" is the new "the Patient" :S

all they did was make healing more boring, yay for spamming a 2+ second cast over and over and over and over

I do a lot more than just spam a cast over and over again. I utilize all my spells

The worst part is, there's this little voice in my head that constantly blames me for not healing them through stuff it's just not possible for me to (like the dps causing the tank to get nailed by the first boss' (in Grim Batol) Charge/Thunder Clap so they both die in like 1 second).

yes i'm the kind of healer that will bitch and moan about a group, but never leave on account of being some strange kind of glutton of punishment.

i utilized all my spells in wrath too, all they did was make mana an issue which takes the power to carry people out of healers hands
healers actually LIKE losing that ability?

I've been starting to prefix my pugs with:
"Tank: if you don't have food to eat between fights, I'm leaving. DPS: If you do not use interrupts or CC and you do not have food to eat between fights, I'm leaving."

I hope you're not a healer in Cataclysm I heal on a pally and druid and in order to heal efficiently I have to juggle all my heals. In WOTLK all I did was spam one heal over and over and I would never dip below 95% mana, that was boring.

Pretty much. I got rid of my Kingslayer title about a week after I got it.. I change between the 3 I like the most: "Brewmaster", "Twilight Vanquisher" and my personal favorite, "of the Nightfall"

I now look at the Kingslayer title with some fears in my eyes. So many of them made terrible mistakes. From tank to healer, alot of stupid stuff.
I don't even wear my KS title

OT : I've healed 99% of my random dungeons so far. they range from good to "cya" but the majority is good as I ask right at the start of the instance : HI, sup? all know what to do ? if not, are u willing to listen or wipe and listen ?

    it works

Problem with that is most people are stuck in the WOTLK and try to run ahead of the healer and when they die its our fault. Bliz has made healing back to what it use to be ( back in the Vinila days for those who remember) where its not easy and we end up haveing to stop and drink and talk out the next fiew fights. ugh i wish people would understand that

Heroics are not that bad you just have to have relax and take a deep breath while some learn the new content. Yes some are really bad and stand in fire like a tank i got a random with today got mad he died because i could not heal him though the boss's damage and the fire damage. He left mad but the next guy to come in moved and boom we 1 shot the boss and the brand new tank got his 70 valor points for the day.

There are 2 main reasons for this.
    1) LK was 5 mannable at the end of wrath, so people could carry there terrible ass friends/guildmates to a KS
    2) Probally the biggest reason, you can still get it at 85. I have seen so many people get this at 85.

Back on topic. Yeah, healing can be a major pain in the ass. I lvld my shaman up and have only healed 2 (pug) heroics on him so far, both of which I did ok but was at the mercy of stupid players. My resto gear is shit atm, the only reason I can queue as resto is because my enhancement score is high enough, mainly due to the crafted engineer goggles. But I wasn't one of those chain heal spammin shamans in wrath. I used EVERY and I mean EVERY resto spell in my book. Could I have healed just fine spamming ch, I suppose, would that make me a shit healer now, you bet. Im glad I refused to conform and become a braindead healer in wrath, it has paid off so far.

It's not all that bad. Just the mDPS peeps staying in AoE (and some tanks) sometimes piss me off. The mDPS dies when on trash, because tank needs all my attention at trash. Bossfights are another story. If they don't learn I tend to kick them, yes. That is if they don't learn after repeatedly saying it to him.

CC helps a lot too. Some AoE boss fights can be a pain and if people refuse to interrupt, wipes follow (like last boss in stonecore).

offtopic for a sec but i do believe LK was literally 5 man'd 1 tank 1 healer 3 dps right before cat even came out...

i play a resto shaman...anwayz, yea shitty dps or bad tank hell even both i grouped with. i ialways look at the group gear before i start going. if its bad, ill stay and try to help them but i mostly stay for rep then leave before the first boss*pending on how stupid they are on trash sence they love to die from it* but im glad blizz hasnt been able to take out my favorite heal yet..."o shit this tank sucks for keepin the boss in the voi...WTF is the kitty and rogue doign staying behind the boss while standing in the void?? fuck the tanks dead and so is the rogue. o well here is my super heal button*leave group instant teleport out* yeaa nice heals man nice heals" case in point, dont suck and healers wont leave like that

I'm a Kingslayer, and while I think of myself that I'm a skilled healer, I can't wait to open the presents under the christmas tree so I can use the Merrymaker title. For some reason using the Kingslayer title makes some people automatically think you're a baddie.

The problem is you have to learn healing twice if you level a new char - healing for 1-83 and from 84-85.
Many people complain about someone having an ebay char if they don't know how to play, but for healers you won't learn how to heal in 85 dungeons until you are there.
Until then, you use only your flashheals and hots, and esp. for bc and wotlk dungeons it is imperative to have all group members health topped all the time because of the ae effects - and with your abilities this is no problem.
But when you reach 84/85, flashhealing and topping the group isn't possible anymore.

This is an inconsistency that really needs to be fixed by blizzard - if you learn how to heal mana efficient during the leveling process, healing heroics would be much easier.
