What is with people posting single-items, not stacks on the AH?!

Embersilk cloth and ore are the main culprits, I can check our AH and see two hundred or more auctions that are one piece of cloth, or a single ore. What is wrong with them? Don't they realise that people want to buy these things in full stacks, not individually?

Gold sellers and other people that have addons that do it for them... Unfortunate but true. They need to be banned imo. The addons not the players.

also if u need many u can buy them too
so it goes to all the potential customers out there

There is a difference between meeting the demand and shoving anything on the ah one at the time.

I sell all mine individually. I always hate it when people sell only full stacks of herb/ore etc myself, most the time I only want to buy a few.

Whereas people like myself will happily pay an extra 10% or more on top of the lowest price to be able to buy full stacks of ore rather than having to click "Buyout" twenty times the amount we want to buy. If you want just 5 stacks of ore, that's 300 clicks to buy it individually. No way it's worth the time.

This is true. I usually spend more when I need to buy full stacks. But I'd say 75% of people use an addon that allows you to buy multiple auctions at once. I've used Auctioneer since Vanilla - Though I use AuctionLite now that I don't post as often.

I do this, but only on certain items, and never more then 15 at a time. If somebody needs all of them, they'll buy them all, if not somebody else will. Get Auctioneer and Auctionator, makes buying/selling stuff a breeze.

And I am the exact opposite. I cannot stand people who list all that stuff individually. It is VERY annoying and wastes my time scrolling through 6 pages of individual lists to find the one guy who is selling a stack for the same price per. PLEASE stop listing them singly.

Hate people that do this. Sure it is okay if it is a few, but when I have to go through EIGHT OR MORE PAGES then it is getting excessive. I mean come on... I do all my AH stuff manually, no add ons. I take the time to check prices, put up the items at fair prices. I am actually known for being fair with my prices so people come to me to buy direct. Instead of the four pages one item undercutting then gouge the hell out of you for stuff people.

I sell my things in individual quantities and hey, people always buy them. I buy things in individual quantities because I don't want to dish out 250g for 20x Azshara's Veil when I only really need/want 3.

Some people might only need 5 instead of 20, and not want to waste extra money buying everything when they only need 5 of an item.
You know you can just scroll down to the ones that are in stacks right? That way both types of buyers are happy.

The world doesn't revolve around only what you want.
And its business. Supply and demand.

Pretty much what I said. I don't get why people can't download a simple Auction addon. It makes posting and buying a lot easier and it doesn't use that much memory (if that's what worries people). But hey, I'll post em how I sell em - If posting 1 at a time for most items works, that's what I'll do. Course I do make a living on the AH, just extra mats and cloth I come across doing randoms. The only thing I make money on is Mana pots, which generally I sell in varying stacks. 1, 2 & 5 usually.

My addons just show: 200 stacks of 1
I just click buy 20 stacks.

I don't care how they are listed, my addons show alle listed items with the cheapest price/item at the top. And i buy what i want with just 2-3 clicks.

However, i only post stacks of 5/10/20, depending on the item.

I've found if I buy a stack of one item one by one, item dependent, I save ~15%
Then I sell them as stacks for people like you to buy, that's how I make my money

I post most of my auctions 1 at a time also. I find I sell more that way than by selling in full stacks. If I post 20 auctions for 1 piece of cloth, I'll sell all of them usually. I just sell them at a cheaper price. If I was to post them in full stacks, someone would just undercut my stack and I wouldn't sell and lose my deposit then have to repost again. When most people see a list of individual postings, they more than likely will scroll until the see the first full stack, then barely undercut that stack. Where with my single postings i very, very rarely get undercut. Sorry if it angers some of you, but my 6 digit gold total says it's the way to do it. Now just to hit the new gold cap.... /crossfingers

What addon are you using for this? The one I use for selling doesn't have such an option and last time I looked for one it indicated that the 4.01 patch had removed the capability to do this.

I hate the people who only post one at a time, its very annoying. I also do not want to go through the trouble of downloading a mod to get around all of this.

My advice is do like me, when you want to buy stacks of something or just check the prices, keep clicking the next page button without scrolling down til you see more then 1 at a time listed, or you get to the last page then go back one. Sure beats scrolling to the bottom of the page 7 times and hitting next before you find the stacks...
