I want to take my targets cast bar and detach it from the target frame, but I can't figure out how to do that.

you aren't able to do that as far as I know. Kindof a bummer I know... Im sure its possible through lua editing but not through the /suf ingame config

Hijacking the thread with another SuF question - Is there any setting that would display a variant of default UI's shield over target's cast if it's un-interruptable? I just see the cast icon, however no indication if it's interruptable or not.

Dvorjak: It would be easier if you get Quartz. This addon lets you customize all the target's cast bars you want.

Axelarius: Next time, create your own thread. Quartz can also do that, if there is a shield around the spell icon, it's uninterruptable, if there's not it can be interrupted.
