Future old heroics.... Gnomeregan and... ?

Yup, with the recent change to Mekgineer Thermapuggle, and blizzard's statement of that this expansion's focus will be on old heroics, I am almost 100% sure (98,7% ATM) That gnomer will become a 85 heroic... i think Stockades will as well... What other old heroics do you think will be available, perhaps some old raids?..

Scarlet Monestary, I can see them connecting armory and cathedral into one dungeon (removing some trash though, especially in armory) also maybe library.

Maybe they can play off of the Joseph the Insane character. But if gnomer is made into a heroic I bet SM will be one too (gnomer is in alli starting zone while SM is in horde, just like SFK and DM)

They have had a really long scarlet monastery run, one that is connected, perhaps that one will be released (it starts at the door, by the stairs).

though quite interesting, gnomeregan is one of the most despised and hated instances of all world of warcraft.
chances it becomes an heroic ? close to ZERO.
chances stockades becomes an heroic ? even closer to zero, though not for the same reasons.

Scarlet Monestary wouldn't make sense, though. The story of the Scarlet Crusade is over and done. Both the old dungeons they made into heroics are part of current in game stories.

Gnomeregan is a definate possibility, I'd also go with Sunken Temple with the hints that Hakkar is coming back. Plus, they changed the entire layout of the zone and I don't see why they'd do that so some alts can do it one time while leveling through the 40s and 50s.

Based on the theme of the expansion with Twilight Cultists and Naga being the main bad guys, I was actually surprised that they didn't make Blackfathom Depths one of the original Heroic classic dungeons - that's the only instance that I can think of that had Twilight Cultists AND Naga already in it!

I agree with old idea of old dungeons becoming heroics, BUT they must change it and made it more fun like they did with SFK and DM.

But why was it hated? Imo because it was a midlevel instance that was massive and very hard to navigate. Have you been to Gnomeregan these days though?

I have. having a npc walking you around a long instance skipping most of its content does not make it more fun. it makes it more boring.

yet they overhauld the old instances the only real thing that is left the same is the dungeon layout so they didn't have to do teh layout yet they have us new boss's brand new fights with different mechanics???? i don't see how this is lazy
