well i'm at 2k resilience right now and things are slightly noticeably betteer than when i had 1200~. i was thinking the jump from getting my 2 piece pvp set(400 free resilience) along with the resilience and gemming from it would make a huge difference but it didn't seem to. i'm still shooting for 2500+ tho, and i only have like less than half of my pvp set so far so we'll see...

PvP is really broken right now, but it's to be expected after major changes across all classes. It'll get fleshed out via patches over the next months. Sure it'll never be perfect, but I think Cataclysm is on its way to becoming the best expansion for WoW PvP. It's just not there yet, and the road is long. But it will happen during this expansion. You just have to look at the larger picture - and Blizzard just has to get the details balanced.

Anyway, the best advice I can give is this: stick to the class you enjoy most (or are most experienced at) (in both PvP and PvE). Even when they suck at the moment. After some time it'll get fixed and then you'll be very unhappy for not having sticked with your class. I'm speaking from past experience here.

i was trying to get my point across; if somebody dies because their partner is cc'd for 10+ seconds, thats just fair game, not game imbalance; if people want to solo-survive 2 dps for over 10 seconds (whilst blowing cooldowns)something is wrong with the game. If you are getting cc'd for 10 seconds multiple times in a row, your either doing something wrong (trinketing the wrong CC for example) or your partner is doing something wrong
I simply can't agree with this, having a pvp participate spend the entire match watching from the sidelines because of CC is not fair game. PvP should be about PLAYING aginst each other not sitting there in a CC. CC right now is completely out of control, especially when combined with the interrupts and much less powerful healing but damage still being ridiculously high.

So, my DK is OP and still Average. Hmm. And isnt it Single Target that matters in PvP? And PvE for most part?

lol, have you seen tree druids? there pretty much unkillable if they can spam their heals while melee are womping on them, yes they will go oom before or after the form is done, but within the like 30 seconds of form? (maybe 40) insta heals ftw

even in 3v3 arena, ms warrior, me as the NS dk and a hpally could not kill a tree druid while the other two partners of his where cc'd, its pretty overpowered

Tree is awesome, no doubting that. However it is a CD, no more no less. Having been in rated BGs, Frost DK, Feral druids, and Frost mages are scary.

I'm really hoping for some balancing soon. (and no I'm not a healer)

IMO resto druids and shamans are where they should be right now. Holy Pallies need to have a little bit of a nerf because they can cast two heals to bring someone from under 5% to full health. If we are in the expansion of harder healing then this should not be possible. Priest are getting the shaft because the Disc bubbles did not scale well enough with speel power to absorb enough damage and with a critted flask heal only being in the 30k range that is simply not enough for the classes OH SHT big heal moments. Forcing priests to cast a 2 sec "heal" spell is entirly to long of a cast and too easy to be interupted.

I think if they reduced the Holy Pally coef slightly that would bring them in line and increased the amount healed by Flash heal by about 5-10k to make it a worth the outragous mana cost there would be more "balance" then what we see now.

The problem with saying "your team should help you" is that healers on both sides in BGs end up getting killed and all that's left is a bunch of DPSers racing to see who's the last man standing. One player should not be able to drop a healer so easily as it quickly removes the entire variable of healers in BGs. And balance concerns aside, it sure as hell doesn't make anyone want to play a healer when the moment you're spotted a single player rushes you and kills you.

And I mention again: Healers can run out of mana now. Mana, interrupts, tactically getting focused by several players, etc. should be much more of a concern than ONE player facerolling a healer down in 10 seconds.

I'm gonna agree with this, as a resto sham with only 2kish resil I find feral druids are the least of my worries. I had 2 jump me at once yesterday and while it is scary the amount of bleeds they can get going as long as you kite you should do okay. Some people will say wah wah they have gap closers well; frost shock ghost wolf out, unleash elements + focused insight heal, drop stone claw ghost wolf kite some more, they do there little leap drop earthbind and rinse and repeat while trying to keep them in range of earthbind. Now good dk's on the other hand just leave me in a diseased pile of mush on the ground.
