After watching this a few times because I couldn't look away, I noticed that the same thing would have happened even if he had gone through the correct door, since it was closed at the time. I also notice he saw the plant, since he went around it. Smart guy.

What's beautiful is that the door still opens for him after he crashes through the window. Like it's adding insult to injury.
