As I posted before, they're not really "weird". Maybe uncommon for consumer motherboards but from what I've read, pretty common for server motherboards. I'm guessing (and if a PC (semi)expert could check this) this is probably a motherboard that came out when CPU's were still only single core, and there were no dual core CPU's yet. Or, it is a server motherboard (but looking at the link I posted of the specs of the motherboard I don't think it is). And the RAM slots are where they are obviously because of where the 2nd P4 CPU slot is.
Either way it's not really a 'funny' picture, but I'm not complaining about it being posted, as it's actually made me do a little research into past PC technology.
Lame funny picture (but still made me chuckle for a sec or 2, guess I have shit humor ;D):

Not questioning your computer expertise, but are you sure? Seeing as the image is the exact same image on http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P4%20Combo/ which specifies it is a combo of 2 different sockets (Socket478 and LGA 775). At least that's what the site specifies.
Can you guys stop blathering on about that motherboard?

ENOUGH ARGUING ALREADY, CAN'T YOU SEE YOU'RE TEARING THIS FAMILY APART?
Now. MOAR FUNNY, LESS ARGUING.
Listen to Sverige, he speaks the truth.
Try it.
No one is arguing, it's called discussing, people were just confused what was supposed to be funny about the picture. Seriously, stop getting your panties in a twist for every frigging little thing. Dear god someone questions something they don't understand! The blasphemy!
So I don't get my head bitten off for replying without posting a funny picture (seems to have become some hidden rule, I'd understand if there were loads of consecutive posts without pictures but there aren't, but apparently you're not allowed to ask a question), here is a random, hopefully, funny picture:
seriously, dafuq did I just see?!!!
