Hit rating - still priority over intellect?

I just read a post on the warlock forums (though they stated it applied to all caster classes) that intellect should now be gemmed/enchanted over hit. My understanding was that hit was favored until cap due to partial resists being a possibility until 17% was reached. Did they change the way the partial resist system works, is intellect simply still better even considering partial resists, or is the post just flat out wrong?

Short answer is that we scale so well with int that int is prioritized over hit cap.

As far as I know:

Partial resists were removed and int is better than hit but it's only a choice while enchanting/gemming.

Int is better than hit dps wise, however if u wanna be able 2 interrupt a heal, stop a cast that will wreck ur tank/raid, or not miss with combustion (which sucs btw) i recommend u go for the hit cap 1st
