No. I love the zone, and i enjoyed it much more than underwatery randomness.

Blech, after doing Vashj'ir in Beta (and loved it there) then it did upon release (and hating it after the second time) I'd have to disagree with you. I did Hyjal after I hit 85 and found it much more appealing than Vashj'ir. If you ran out of quests you clearly didn't pick something up because there are way more quests past the achievement. Never had an issue finding quests either... you should probably read the quests you're on more thoroughly.
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
Melodi, Resto Druid
you arent alone OP, vashj'ir is so much more interesting and diverse than hyjal.
with my shaman i went vashj'ir > deepholm > twilight highlands, for the next alt i play it was going to be hyjal > uldum > twilight, but after going to hyjal and uldum for gold and achi's, i think ill use the same progression i did originally, hyjal is just flat out boring
This had better be a troll.

It would help if you told us which camp you stopped at.
Did you rescue Goldrin?
Did you rescue Aviana?
If you have done both of those then you are most likely at the Shrine of Assera. Did you bother to check the entire camp before flying off at mach 2? Sadly most people who have issues in the area are guilty of that. If people had the curiosity to check back with the lady that had them talk to the satyr or had gone to the lady sending out the treants, they would have seen the quest. Both of them will offer it.
The worst zone in cata is still vashwhatever, I HATE UNDERWATER COMBAT.
The problem people have is after the jousting crap (worst quest ever), the dragon without clothes tells you that you need to go to the east to the temple again where you rescued some animals. I missed it too, can't be bothered to read bad written lolore.

As I said I have been to every questgiver, many of them twice so I havent missed any quests. The last quest I did was around sanctuary of malorne where I rescued the turtle and then I think I killed some guys or something, well didnt get anything more there after I finished those that were avalible
How can Hyjal be the worst questing zone ever when Silithus and Arathi Highlands still exist in the game?
i did take hyjal i like that much more then Vashj'ir no i hate Vashj'ir to much 3d questing and take alot of time to get around even with the sea horse mount
Leveled 3 characters through the entire zone, every quest there. You must be doing something wrong. Its awesome
There are some guys in a burnt down night elf building. They give you a quest to loot the arrows they've been firing at the twilight guys. Or if its before that, you either didnt kill enough of the elementals corehounds and gather up the soil. Or you totally missed the breadcrumb Ysera gives you after those quests. Either way, the mistake is on your part and not the games. If you actually had posted more detail in the quests that you just done instead of "i liek turtlez n killin guize" we might actually be able to help you.

Hyjal isn't that bad... i hate Vash'ir. I really hate that zone and hope, that they won't have "ohsogreatidea" to make underwater zone again.
Like the "underwater" quests in classic WoW weren't enough annoying...
I really like the place and what they've done there. I'd probably quest there if I didn't need the earthen ring rep that much.
also, didn't have any problems with quests or quest flow
just give it a deeper look
Hyjal is a dream compared to Vashj'ir
I am and always will be the optimist. The hope for far-flung hopes and dreamer of improbable dreams.
My car's lights won't go, so I think VW Passat is the worst car ever.
I thought that this zone was awesome. It's a logistical masterpiece. When you quest through, you'll be at different places every 5 minutes. They don't look the same, not the same mobs etc.
But when you fly over, you see that all those places are adjacent and that the ogres say hello to the hellhounds ^^
Mount Hyjal is maybe one of the best questing zones ever.
Yes, you need to pay attention and running out of quests can be a problem if you are not paying attention. I can recommend a little but VERY useful addon called "AutoItemStartQuest" - as the name kinda says it will automatically start a quest when you pick-up an quest item, so you will never miss to click on the item.
For OP, have you tried looking in the very North West corner of the Zone, near the place where you do the "Bounce" achievemnt? I missed some quest there when leveling in the zone.
