    Hyjal the worst questinzone ever?

I am currently questing in hyjal, I am already 85 but getting rep. But this is the worst zone ever, now after 69 quests done I have find myself with no idea where to go and no quests in my questlog for the third time. In just about every other zone they point you where to go but not this time, I got no quests at the hubs I have been in and now im just flying around looking for quests, what the hell is his for a bad designed zone?

Recap for people who doesnt read the thread.
I have quested through EVERY zone in the bloody game and never had this problem EVER.
I have been to every questgiver THRICE
The last quests I did was freeing the turtle and doign some killquest I think, I am at 69 quests done in hyjal

It's one of the better designed, imo. I love the zone. Maybe you just forgot to pick up a quest or something, as I've never had that problem and every character I've had at 80+ has quested there. =\

Then you're not picking up every quest that pops up on your mini map. i.e. You're doin it wrong. I never ran out of quests till the end of the Cenarius vs Ragnaros chain.

Just follow the Questline from the start in OG (or probably SW if aliance) and you will have no trouble at all. and when you ru out quests just backtrack the road, there will be some Quest givers. Hyjal is one of the most linear zone i saw, there are no Hubs or so, there is one big Chain through entire zone.

This was imo my second favourite zone in Cataclysm (next to Uldum), it is very story driven though so people who rush through without a care miss what's going on, so miss where to go next. If you speak to Ysera, who appears when you finish a shrine, she tells you about the other shrines you have left to do. If you have done all three shrines I think she direct's you to the Grove of Aessinia.

I've done the zone 3 times and all 3 times I hit exactly 1 spot where I had no quests left and didn't know where to go. All 3 times were in the same place. I had to go to the area where you release the demon guy and rescue the baby deer.

Not sure how because I went in different order of questing on all 3 characters, but missed the lead in to this place every time. Just flew around till I saw a ! on minimap.

Full disclosure: There are about ~15 quests more than needed for zone achievement.
And no, Hyjal is a great little zone. With its straightforwardness and rather simple mechanics it offers a refreshing break from other zones.
Also did the zone twice, never had to fly around looking for quests.

It is the worst zone ever but not because of all the confusion where to go what to do, but because it's:
    1. Ugly.
    2. Boring.
    3. Chaos everywhere.

Just go Vashj'ir. It's fantastic in every bit of it.

I am utterly speechless at the number of people that are consistently running out of quests. READ THE QUEST TEXTS. Often when you kill mobs, they will drop an item that starts a quest (in my experience it's always the first kill of a certain type of mob that triggers this drop) OR, the kill of that mob will trigger an "environmental" quest that will pop up in your quest tracker randomly. Often when you are sent on a quest to for instance, gather 8 of a type of herb, the area will be guarded with some type of enemy, and the first kill of such an enemy will trigger that quest.

Stop trying to rush through things and pay attention to your minimap. Quest givers ALWAYS appear on it, you are likely just flying from point to point with no real regard for the world around you, and therefore are missing parts of quest chains. If you pay attention and follow everything correctly and stop trying to avoid killing certain mobs you will get all quests in the intended sequence with NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER.

I went through Vashj'ir and Hyjal and while I found Vashj'ir more to my tastes, I never had any problems with questing through Hyjal. The quests directed me around just fine.

    Perhaps you just missed something?

It can't be the worst. The Netherstorm is still in the game

How some people manage to miss quests I don't know :S. Raging at Blizzard for their stupidity is funny . Uldum is one that catches a few people out. I hit 108 quests with a couple to spare.

    hand holding - check
interesting zone design with features! (wanna compare to old desolace anybody?) - check

explain to me how did you manage to play the game in vanilla wow zones?

OH ebay @lvl 80 so op had no idea how to quest - check!!

You probably missed the quest where you have to kill ogres, and troll hunters to steal some cargo.

Having done Hyjal numerous times, including beta, I am a bit perplexed as to how you ran out of quests. I picked up every quest on my minimap and followed the chains through to the end of the zone. Perhaps you missed the quest text that told you to return to Ysera? There is a reason there is text when you get a quest. It explains what to do and why you are doing it, as well as who to return to once you finish.
Playing since Patch 1.11 (Draenor & Icecrown - PvE).

Seriously, saying that Hyjal is the worst zone ever pretty much equals saying Humphrey Bogart was the worst actor ever.
He probably wasn't the best of them all but... he was sure cool.

Have to say i love the zone. Questlines are imaginative and i think the graphics are also good. Much better than killing 10 gazillion naga in vashj'ir. If you have lost your questline go back to previous quest hubs. This happened to me once and it turned out i forgot to take a quest.
