WoW Idea: Vendor Pet (not what you think)

So my dad had a really good idea this morning, and I thought I'd share.
There should be a pet that you can purchase for some total of gold that acts as a vendor for your wares.
Imagine, if you will, a 10 slot vendor where you decide what items he sells at what price. You could assign wares from your bags or bank, such as gems or reagents, and set prices on them.

You could sit outside the AH and advertise your items in trade!
you could sell flasks in raid pugs!
You could even do some things I haven't thought of!

You want a mobile auction house? Otherwise, this idea seems totally obsolete with the Auction House, and screams free-to-play mmo

Aion had a similar thing. It actually turned out really badly because of inflated prices. (Because people were putting it there, people weren't putting it on AH, so people could basically charge whatever they want and there's no way for a player to know if that was the best price.)
