Looking for something different in the game while you nonchalantly gear your way up to the raiding level? Tired of only grinding out rep day-in and day-out?

The Guild:
Greywater Watch is a casual raiding guild that also focuses on achievement gathering, PvP, older PvE content, and alt leveling. The guild is small at the moment, at only level 4 but with 6 bank tabs, Vent, and guild site. We are reformed of a guild that our core members helped to put in the top 50 on the server at the end of Wrath, with most of us having the Kingslayer title. While many of us are not quite raid ready, when the time comes, we want to focus on 10 man content only. Please note that we are nowhere near being hardcore. We are looking to raid on Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 6-9pm server (server is PST). We strive to be the best players we can be. We are made up of kind, giving, fun-loving people who enjoy helping others when we can, and helping to make the guild an enjoyable, homey type place. The guild has upgraded to 18+, has a low tolerance for -isms and derogatory language, but willingly allows foul language, That's What She Said jokes, and often finds toilet humor and keying burps into the mic hilarious. Most of the members can be found chatting in Vent on a regular basis.

The Server:

The Venture Co-US is a strange place filled with strange people. Horde side seems to have its fair share of trolls, as do many servers, but they are easily avoidable. The economy obviously fluctuates with content, but is pretty sturdy. It is an RPPvP realm where the RP rarely exists and the PvP is in high demand. Don't be surprised when a level 85 ganks and camps your level 30 corpse. Battlegrounds are an interesting mix, as with the new content, a rise in numbers has occurred. Horde wins about 50% of the time. As far as Tol Barad is concerned... we're lucky if we have it more than once a day (but IMO, the battleground is borked anyway so it's not hard to lose). More of the Horde seems to be focusing on the PvE side of things, because the numbers are lacking in the new bg. Wintergrasp is usually still in our control. Players on the Horde side are a smattering of helpful and annoying, namely particular hardcore raiding guilds that are easy to ignore.

The Recruit:
The short of it is, we would like to expand our roster. What we currently have is not enough to run a 10 man raid on a weekly basis and we would all like to see the new content. We would like to have new members who want to run old content, gather up the achievement points, and help to make Greywater Watch a thriving home.

What is expected in a new recruit is the following:
-mature attitude but the willingness to be silly and immature with the guild
-18+
-someone who wants more out of the game than just raiding
-someone who understands that gear =/= skill and that iLevel is usually just a number
-someone who understands that we will not faceroll through content and may find weeks where we do not progress at all
-a willingness to abide by all the rules
-a willingness to contribute to other aspects of the game, e.g. guild achievement runs, helping lowbies, PvP (though obviously not necessary if you don't like it)
-no jerks, no jerks, no jerks

We are in desperate need of healers at the moment, but are accepting all specs of every class and every level. If you cannot afford to server-hop or faction-change, we understand, and encourage you to start up a new toon to level with us. Many of us are rolling goblins or new class combinations. Bags and gold will be provided, and we'd give you the heirlooms off our backs if we could.

If Greywater Watch sounds like a place you would like to be, there are two options! Check out the guild website greywater-watch.wowstead.com, read the rules, register for a free account, and put in an application under recruitment. Or, roll an alt and whisper Brecka, Nitidus, Levitas, or Caelifera for an in-game round of questions.

To hearth and heart and harvest.
