Almost Professional, US Garona (3rd) 8/12 T11 Seeking Ranged/Healers

Almost Professional of US-Garona is seeking like minded individuals to help conquer new Cataclysm content at an extremely fast pace. We are all very seasoned and dedicated players that have spent numerous hours wiping and learning together. For Cataclysm our raid days will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, 8pm to 11pm server time (CST).

Currently 8/12 in Teir 11 Progression, with new bosses dying every raid night. We are 3rd in progression on the server, and moving up fast.

CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ANY EXCEPTIONAL RANGED DPS WITH HEALING OFFSPECS. (FERAL/MOONKIN WITH RESTO PREFERED) Exceptional does not mean you barely beat the Lich King on Normal mode with a 30% buff 3 days before the expansion came out. This is a hard mode guild with hard mode players.

About Us:
We are mostly a reform of a 25 man guild that broke up after H LK. We currently have had 8 members that are either Light of Dawn, or Bane of the Fallen King raiders. Everyone has ICC mounts and most of us have Ulduar Mounts. We have Dedicated Insanity from TOGC and Yogg +0 light done. We even have a Shadowmourne. Everyone in this guild is extremely serious about conquering content at a competitive rate, while only raiding 3 nights a week. We are ALL world ranked players at our class and job, provable with logging websites like WMO.com and WOL.com. We have always raided 3 nights a week, and have been part of some of the most successful serious, but “casual”, raiding guilds in the world. Most of us have been in top 200 US guilds for WOTLK raiding, and we want to continue to strive to be that good in the upcoming expansion.

Playing at our pace means we have to be very strict with our time. While we like to have fun, goof off, and play with each other (yes, I did go there), Raiding times are expected to be serious time. We clear content at the top 200 US level on 9 hours of raiding time a week. That isn’t a lot of time. Especially when its new content that everyone needs to learn.

So, what do I need to ask myself to join???

We are a 10 man HARD MODE only guild. Missing 1 player is 10% of the raid and often means we can not do a raid at maximum efficiency. You need to show up on time, 100% of the time, ready to go. Flasks, food, potions, gear in the right order, main spec and off spec taken care of, glyphs in order, mods downloaded/installed/configured and have researched the fights and know your job. We don’t have time for people that stand in fire, because they couldn’t take 5 mins to watch a video that shows you how and when the fire comes out. Knowing your job is more important than your gear score. Knowing your job is also more important than the DPS you pull.
