If I remember well it doesn't have any effect on your totems, I don't have any proof though.

as far as I know it only applies to Warlocks, Frost Mages, Hunters and Deathknights (and only to their permanent pets)

It says in the tooltip that it only affects Death Knights, Warlock and Hunters.
You can't exactly 'command' your wooden sticks to do more damage. =P

I believe it also effects Enhance Shamans Wolfs, but not totems.
