<GRIP> a newly formed guild on Emeriss EU is now looking for more to join our ranks.
EDIT: 12/12 Bosses deaded
Tired of wiping on 25mans due to that guy who can’t pay attention, avoid fires and is late/afk every raid? We know you would much rather enjoy the PVE game in a close 10man environment! Well here is you chance!
We are looking for the following to fill our roster:
This guild will be focusing on PVE progression in 10mans with a casual friendly wipe, we will be raiding 3 days per week. The raid times are as follows:
-Tuesday (only if people are up for it) 20:00 - 23:00
What is GRIP? We are a group of players who have played together since Vanilla, and even though we have not always been in the same raiding guilds we never lost touch and with Cata decided to focus on 10mans.
Some of us have played for guilds like <Inner Sanctum>, <Nihilum> and <Ensidia> so we know how to lead raids, how to form strategies and how to have fun while doing PVE progression and farm content. And since this is now a casual raiding guild we will not be pushing crazy hours and raiding 24/7 but we will still play on a hardcore level when it’s raid time.
Since the guild was formed rather late:
Our current goal is becoming Realm Rank #1 on heroic progression
Even though we are a newly formed 10man guild, we already have some slots filled, and are now looking to get the rest to fill our “dream” roster. We will be picky about specs, classes, gear, gems, enchants as well as skill and previous PVE achievements when we are reviewing applicants and trialing you! So don’t think this will be a casual friendly carebear club. We want the best players even though this is a “casual” guild.
What we expect from you:
-Be reliable! We will be a small guild of around 15-20 people, if we can’t count on you to show up for raid nights, don’t bother applying.
-Able to thrive on criticism, even as the harsh kind. If you keep making the same mistakes, you will get told off.
-Being able to understand bosses quickly, wiping a lot, trying different things and always being ready for raid night with pots, flasks and such.
-Know your class! You must not only play your main spec well, but also be able to perform just as good with your off-spec. You should know how to reforge your gear, what chants to pick etc.
-Be a great player! We are not looking for people who can’t perform in raids. If you tend to stand in fires just for the hell of it, don’t bother applying.
-Be a decent human being! We are not looking for soldiers, and we are not looking for people who only care about loot. If you pass your trial and you fit in well with us, you will get everything you want out of this game. Guaranteed!
What you can expect from us:
-A great raid and guild environment. Where you will make some long lasting relationships if you so chose to. You will not only learn how real progression feels on a hardcore level but achieve it while only playing 3 days per week.
-Playing together with other great players who rather focus on 10man PVE instead of 25man PVE progression and not needing to raid 24/7 to achieve impressive results.
-Having fun again! There is no longer a need to be in a 25 man guild to feel awesome; you can now achieve the same results and same gear in 10mans only not having to deal with bad leaders, bad players and guild drama.
-Loot Council that benefits the guild. There will be no DKP (yes it’s really gone!) Instead we will be distributing loot via a loot council, to make our raid force better overall. The better you perform (mistake/dps/reliability) wise the better gear you will receive. If you only care about loot, please save yourself the trouble and do not apply!
Things that might help your application:
-WWS / WMO / Stasis parses.
-High end raiding experience (Pre-TBC content, pre 3.0 Sunwell, experience with progression raiding).
-PTR experience of current content ( if available ).
-Gear to match your current raiding experience.
In the case of rerollers, make sure to give us information about your previous character.
-Effort in writing your application. Applications with a couple of lines will simply be declined right away, if you can’t write a decent well thought out application, don’t bother applying.
Send us your app to either: gripapp@gmail.com or use our newly made guild website (work in progress) under recruitment.
Note: During the holidays there might be some downtime when it comes to application responses.
If you have further questions please feel free to send us PM’s on our site.
