    Pretty sure it's a troll. I mean, seriously, he just randomly whips out a photo of some magnet, and of course his Dad uses it for welding, so that it's actually strong enough to wipe the HDD.

    My guess is that it's a troll that has a clue, and just posted what they wanted to hear. Screenshots of an installing or a non-booting PC can all be found on Google. His Dad also look over an hour when he claimed he'll be home in 10-15 minutes, well knowing that a Windows XP installation wouldn't complete in 10-15 minutes (but will easily complete in 1 hour).

    I had no idea what the commands at the beginning meant, so I might've fallen for it. though the second command, from my crude knowledge of computers seems to go something like "delete the C drive off your windows computer" little bit suspicious...
