None of The Raid Bosses Are Epic Except 2

Is it just me or do none of the bosses in BWD or BOT feel epic or even worth doing. All my IRL friends who play wow dont even bother with raids anymore, and these guys have played since vanilla. And asking them they say all cata bosses are reused and piece of shits. And I agree 100% with them. They also agree that throne of the four winds is the only raid thats fun or unique. I did magmaw and I was like wow that was a gay ass fight. Next day they gave me invite for omnotron and I declined cause they are not even fun. My guild leader even told me "I understand, I kinda hate cata raiding its same old shit". He wasnt mad or anything that I declined, just "hey I understand". My guild doesnt even bother with raiding anymore.
Edit: Rated Bgs are better then raiding.

I think a lot of people are realizing that especially those that have played a long time. I played BC WOTLK and a little of Cata and I'm just bored. It's to be expected though because you can't really play through all the expansions expecting anything all THAT new and refreshing. The only thing FOR ME that would keep me interested again is putting more into battlegrounds. Like mixing strand and alterac together into one BG...to me...that would be insane even though I don't like strand just the idea of it.

Anyway back on topic everything has just been done already. Sure there may be some new things that may come along but none of the bosses in any raid are going to be as epic as the BC ones because I started the day BC came out so everyone will have a different opinion there. All the new spells we get are neat and all but that's just one more thing on my spell bar. And the attitude of most of the players on WoW is just a huge turnoff anymore. I've been playing Eve and that game is cutthroat as hell but the players are, for the most part, a lot more nicer.

I just think this game is starting to lose its luster. I'm sure people will come in and say "pffft noob then why does wow have so many subscribers?" and the answer is simple...advertising and the availability. It's just personal opinion is all some people have been playing for so long that they have seen most of the boss mechanics while newcomers are just starting and getting to see it all for the first time.

How about you do all of the fights before you whine about how unoriginal and boring they are. They did a hell of a lot better job than they did on most non-Ulduar bosses in Wrath and for the most part better than every boss in Vanilla except the end bosses of each raid. This is about the first time in a long time where bosses have random or unique abilities that while working on raid strats for my guild I couldn't say X mechanic is exactly the same as Y mechanic from BC or Vanilla. The first boss in Throne isn't unique except for the switching platforms part. Rohash is essentially Lurker spout plus Wicked Witch's Tornado from Opera, Anshal is the healing circle effect from Vortex Pinnacle and add summons which are a boss staple, and Nezir blows up for damage. Al'Akir is certainly unique, but Conclave isn't.

Well said sir, the battlegrounds and arena are the only thing keeping me in this game, as I just started doing arena. Good thing I never touched pvp in wrath. And yes they should make a lot more Bgs. like King of the Hill, Straight up Death match(100 kills).

Don't blame the raids. People get burnt out all the time. You are not the first, nor will you be the last.
After a certain point of time most people have a similar reaction to the raiding content. Regardless of how new/dynamic/interesting/challenging it is.

My advice to you? Take a break from the game. If it doesn't pull you back after a while, then you have outgrown WoW. Don't try to overthink/analyze this.

This is a game. Developed for a significantly MASS market. You will rarely (if ever) have everyone pleased about everything at the same time. If you enjoy what it has to offer, great. If you don't, walk away gracefully.

Because doing stuff in the first expansion is going to stay fresh and exciting when you are doing it in the 3rd. It's not that it's the first boss of the raid it's just getting old is all. And it's posts like this that just make me dislike the player base more. Sure it's one post but I wish I could say I couldn't go into trade and see exactly the same attitude.

That's true. It is. Completely valid point, and I'm sure a nice chunk of older raiders are feeling burnt out due to it.

But not sure why you quoted me, as I was making fun of how he said he only needed to see the first boss to judge the whole raid.

I raid since Molten Core (with small breaks) and if you disregard the bugs and tuning of some encounters they are actually pretty cool. And the endbosses of the three raids are all pretty epic in their way and after so many years Blizzard still comes up with interesting new mechanics.

There's some good fights like Atramedes, V&T, Chimaeron (fun fight as healer but way too easy), Al'akir... but yeah, the others is kinda meh imo.
