Horde sucks at pvp?

I guess the title says its all..
This aint a QQ post but really, now i have been playing PvE since Cata release and was really pleased with how hard the new content is. But i have been gearing my warrior lately trying to get full PvP gear and are missing the last pieces to be done with whole set. Amazingly it have taken sooooo long time since i have expirienced loose after loose after loose, like 9 out of 10 random battle grounds was loose. Sometimes i even try to tell people how to win the BG but have never expirienced anyone listen. I know the win/loose was around 50% in vanilla and BC but now its just loose loose loose.. have all pro PvP players rerolled alliance? or are Horde just too filled with kids that cant read english?
Would really like to know if im the only one that have expirienced this or just me who are lucky with the battle grounds i get into?

Horde is cool and being promoted heavily by blizz - all kinds like - all kids go - horde...uhm.."quality" drops

Not, we can't win anything to save our lives on my server. Horde absolutely owns.

I used to be on Spinebreaker, which was ridiculously Horde dominated. We NEVER, I mean NEVER had WG, lol. Some friends convinced my to transfer to Ner'Zhul because PvP was more balanced. Boy were they wrong. I think we've had TB maybe once since Cata dropped, and leveling alts is a constant drop-from-the-sky gankfest.

In other words, it's pretty much server-dependent. Cross-realm BGs we win more, for obvious reasons. We get people from better servers to help us.

Realm I'm on, the Alliance continually won WG due to their sheer numbers over us. We kept warning them once they changed the que and how many people were allowed in that they would lose because we have far more people on our side that actually PvP (few guilds dedicated solely to it). They laughed at us...now almost daily since the change to que, Alliance come into our trade chat crying about how its cheating on our part. How cute. We have owned Tol Barad and WG almost every single day since patch 4.03.

Not QQ im alliance and i havent PvP'd since the old grand marshal days, it was fun for a while, but the fundamentally unbalanced nature of it, the reward system that encourages bad play and well just having better things to do makes it all a matter of extreme indifference to me, still fun to tease the old horde players though

For example:
If 80% of your team in wsg seems more focused on camping the alliance graveyard instead of getting flag,and ally wins, there is no point in saying "[Faction] sucks because......" it is all up to the players, do they have the tactical know how to take the other team down or are they easily distracted by running after that mage going into the tent for the resto chest.

Oh it sustains me. Much of my enjoyment from PvP comes from feeling their rage as they die, but it is also satisfying knowing that there are two hundred horde that didn't make the queue, especially considering that 40% of the horde are alliance faction changers who thought that it was their faction that was bad, when in reality it was them all along. They shot themselves in the foot.... but I do "kind of sort of" feel bad for the long-time horde players who now have an army of mouth breathing retards to call "teammates".

I remember in Vanilla it was literally 50/50 and maybe a little in our favor as alliance on K'T US, but cross faction BG's bunched us in with EVERY RP SERVER available on Nightfall battlegroup, now its almost impossible to simply coordinate a single BG, and the win/loss ratio for my server now is like 1/6

im glad for faction changes tho, because i know there were SOME horde pvpers who switched to alliance who know what they are doing, and hopefully more idiots like you said have gone to horde so i can laugh at their faces in the dirt (people with "lol" in their character name really are just bad at pvp on my server, they get cocky when they get pvp gear and think they're the shit for having it <-- people i love killing)

This thread came up before, and when someone pointed out how to check your BG stats, it turned out that pretty much everyone was somewhere around 50/50. The worst W/L records were maybe 4:6 at worst.

Losing multiple BG's in a row is just a far more frustrating experience then winning multiple BG's is satisfying, and I think that frustration is what causes it to stick out in people's minds.

If Alliance is a bit ahead, I would imagine that is caused by their fast queue times. Lots of high level PvP'ers and PvP guilds transfer to Alliance for the queues, and players are able to gear up faster then Horde.

This is just blatantly false, though it is a convenient fantasy isn't it.

My overall record is around 1-4, my highest is WSG which is slightly over 1-2. I'm proud to say that the ones that require higher personal contribution I score better in.

Before Cata I was around 1 for 3, and in just the short time of cata, its gone to 1 for 4, because I can go an entire day of doing BGs and not win once.

So sorry, no. Stats are lopsided and that's the way it is. deal.

Horde's racials are slightly more pvp oriented, so I don't think so.
For pvp racials on the alliance side, theres escape artist, every man for himself and worgen's sprint. The other ones are great, but not pvp racials.
For the horde side, theres a aoe stun, aoe silence, a cooldown that(from what I understand) stacks with your trinket, a jump forward, a fear immunity and whatever trolls have.

Stoneform isn't great for PvP? 10% damage reduction + removal of all poisons/bleeds is amazing. Shadowmeld is great too if used in a creative way. There is no fear immunity, there is a fear/charm/sleep removal on a 2min c/d that puts your pvp trinket on a 45 sec cd when used. Trolls get a mini bloodlust. And lol if you think War Stomp is really that good for...... anything. I have no clue what you're talking about with a cooldown that stacks with your trinket. Unless you mean orc blood fury, but that does is increase Attack power or spell power for 15 sec's every 2 min.

Racials are balanced.

I´d say it all depends on your server / battlegroup. If you´re on a server / battlegroup with lots of great alliance players then yeah, you might lose alot

i have maybe a 90% winrate in normal BGs i think. after cata release we lost 90%, but its gone back to normal now.

ofc i still get the occasional shit BG where i am the only person in pvp gear, and the entire team just stands around like sheep.

Considering that every AV I have been in is a win due to Defending Galv/taking Stonehearth at the same time and pushing/holding from there...ya this thread is pointless. Not to mention in 3 of these so said AV's we summoned the Ice Lord. 500 free HK's are awesome.

Tbh, whichever faction you play it always feels like your faction is the one loosing more often.But yeah general consensus tends to be that "hordes win more".I'd suggest you make use of the upcoming SOTA weekend, that along with AV is quite effective honor, even if you lose and the matches are typically rather fast...unlike ab or wsg for few examples that always take 20min and yield whopping 30-40 honor if you lose :S

I have seen atleast 3 worgenfreeman, and I have to say pvp on the alliance has gone down hill since people have been getting worgens to 85 and or transfered for the look.

Alliance is more defensive than the horde, thus they win in BGs. They defend the flag carrier while the horde Zerg, they defend the flags in AB and TBOG, while horde zerg, In av 20 of them defend while 20 of them attack, while 37 of the horde just zerg and 3 defend, in IoQ homever things are different.

Hell AV we've been losing almost every time since cata because horde figured out that you can turtle galv > backcap towers and win. Whenever someone suggests alliance try and turtle Bal (or something) they always get told off "Don't try and turtle noob!".

yeah it can be a bit annoying watching the entire bg group run for the flag, talking before the fight might help, but even then, how great you are at strats wont make up how stupid they can be, one downside of the horde, we can be a bit headstrong, wanting to just rush into the fight without considering the objective

I really really miss the days when people deeply identified with their faction.

It was a point of pride to be the outnumbered faction. People stuck together and there was a sense of community. Sure the gameplay and balance was tons worse back then, but that sense of community was cool.

That's why every time I see someone complain about the other faction it just warms my heart.

horde sucks and horde is good, its depending on server/battlegroup same for the alliance.. if you dont have patience, make groups/pvp guild or join one that way you might win more often, or transfer to another server thats in another battlegroup..
