    So... you're missing a ton of buffs. Just off the top of my head:
    Spellpower buff
    5% crit
    3% damage
    either stamina or strength/agi (depending on what the warrior uses)
    That's just off the top of my head. You're not gonna do great with the aoe healing either.
    Oh and interrupts. Aside from the tank, you have no interrupts.

    1) Someone who can control the boss effectively and utilises cooldowns appropriately
    2) Someone who can control the boss effectively and utilises cooldowns appropriately, and has a solid DPS spec and gear

    HEALS:
    1) Someone who keeps the tanks alive and doesn't stand in fire
    2) Someone who keeps the tanks alive and doesn't stand in fire
    3) Someone who keeps the raid alive and doesn't stand in fire

    DPS:
    1) Someone who puts out good damage and doesn't stand in fire
    2) Someone who puts out good damage and doesn't stand in fire
    3) Someone who puts out good damage and doesn't stand in fire
    4) Someone who puts out good damage and doesn't stand in fire
    5) Someone who puts out good damage and doesn't stand in fire




    As long as the group comp isn't ridiculous (ie 5 of one class, missing 75% of buffs etc) I don't give a rats which class is supposedly "better" than others. I know the people I raid with are good, and I know there are people I raid with sometimes who are not good, and all I want in my ideal raid comp is 9 other people from Column A.

    Druid (Feral offtank main/Feral dps off)

    Heals:
    Priest (Holy)
    Paladin (Holy)
    Druid (Restoration main/Moonkin dps off)

    DPS:
    Warlock (affliction)
    Mage (frost)
    Warrior (Fury dps main/Protection tank off)
    Hunter (Beast Mastery)
    Priest (shadow)

    We are clearing BoT normal ATM and have little/no problems with this setup

    Mage (Frost/Fire) - Must be able to switch
    Hunter (Survival) - Obv reasons
    Rogue (Best raid spec idk rogue specs anymroe that they raid with)
    Warlock (Demo)
    Unholy DK or Warrior DPS, preferably unholy dk and a prot warr, or just uholy dk AND blood dk

    Word on the street is that Feral Druid are the best tanks at the moment.

    Druid -> Death Knight -> Paladin -> Warrior.

    Also, Moonkins are awesome... they easily keep up with top ranged casters.. I don't know what your realm is like but I think you are smoking some good shit.

    Then explain Paragon's 2nd and 3rd DPS, both of which were Boomkins, on Sinestra (Pulling like 25-28k each)?

    Anyways, my guild's comp is looking like this:

    Tanks: Protection Paladin, Blood Death Knight
    Healers: Holy Paladin, Restoration Druid, Discipline Priest
    DPS: Elemental Shaman, Fury Warrior, Combat Rogue, Balance Druid, Destruction Warlock

    In the end, we wind up missing the +Mana Total buff, but I believe that is it.

    I'm not at all in agreement with your heals or dps assignments. Definitely should be a shaman or mage in there for heroism/bloodlust, amongst other buffs.

    We use for our raids (10/12 downed on normal, Al'akir and Nefarian left) and its working just fine:

    Tanks: Warrior (with fury offspecc)
    Paladin (Holy offspecc)

    Healer: Holy priest (shadow offspecc)
    Holy paladin (Retri offspecc)
    Resto Shaman (Enhancement offspecc)

    DPS: either 5 of these
    Fury warrior
    Demo lock/destro
    destro/affliction lock
    SV hunter
    Boomkin/feral
    Frost DK

    Pretty much this. A lot of our guild is made up of friends who have been around for a while and are good players who I enjoy spending time with. As long as they can fill the above criteria they're generally in our raids.

    Boomkins are absolutely amazing. I play boomkin for our raid, and I have no trouble at all holding top spot on logs. It's usually the hunter and myself fighting for top spot on dps.

    Our raid comp is.....odd to say the lead.

    Not only do frost DK's make ANY fight with adds much easier, they're going to be pulling higher single target deeps than unholy in 4.0.6 anyway, plus they provide the (relatively rare) 10% attack/casting speed buff.

    Especially after 4.0.6 there won't be any reason NOT to bring one. Even with that 40% HB nerf we're still going to be toping aoe charts (aside from hunters)

    Just wanted to tell you that I looked over your logs and your warlock is losing quite a bit of dps. He outgears my own lock by far but my lock pulls equal to near equal dps in demo spec. Your lock is using incinerate as his filler instead of shadow bolt. Incinerate should only be used when molten core procs. Only destro locks use incinerate as their filler. He's well geared and decently specced so it's an odd thing to see honestly. I'm guessing he could pick up at least 1.5k dps by making that one spell change. I'm sure you guys are fine, you have no problems, etc. but just throwing it out there. Whether you want to tell him or not is up to you.
