It depends what content you are doing. If you're doing 5-mans, a specc without Moonglow is ok. If you're doing raids, however, 3/3 Moonglow and 2/3 Furor are pretty much a must at starting gear levels.

I think some of the talent speccs people posted here are pretty terrible, but whatever works for them. Look up some well-known druids such as Xaar of Paragon and see what speccs they use before deciding.

Xaar's spec is for heroic 25 man raiding, very clearly, not for the average druid's situation.

    i have found http: //wowtal.com/#k=Rq6zX1O.aei.druid.MLvatP
to be a very effective way to tank heal plus off raid heals. I usually do around 10.5k -12k hps in 25 man raids with this spec and a 356 ilev.

Actually I'd say Xaar's spec is fairly standard. Only difference is he doesn't take Nature's Swiftness or the dispel magic talent, both of which are probably worth getting if you're doing 5 mans of any kind.

    I swear by that spec.

Gives me everything I need and a nice throughput bonus with Genesis.

Went with this, almost the same build as someone linked earlier, but I took GCD redux on Rejuv. Haven't looked at my spec in a while, but with my current haste it might not be the most effective use of the point. Though, Regrowth is such a rare use for me that I still doubt Ill change it.

Wondering how the 3rejuv +Nourish talent is going to work out. Seems annoying to monitor.

The OP never specified what situation he needed the specc for. And I also didn't say "OMG copy Xaar's specc he's in Paragon so HE'S AWESOME AND HIS SPECC IS BEST". I said "Look up some well-known druids such as" him. A visit to World of Logs and looking up the exact raid bracket you're doing is a good idea, for instance.

Either way, I disagree that Xaar's specc is only good for 25-man heroics. I use a specc similar to his and I do 10-mans mainly. I have Nature's Cure for the daily 5-mans and some other minor modifications. I absolutely love the mana regen the combination of 3/3 Moonglow and 2/3 Furor offers.

Personally cant understand why anyone wouldnt take 3 points in furor, 15% more base mana which is essential on long fights, plus u gain more from your innervate

Alot of suboptimal specs being thrown arround here :Z I see alot of nature's swiftness being used which is a wasted talent point imo. Its obviously that we resto druids wouldnt mind getting 10 more talent points to spend since we could make use out of it. Since we have only 41 points we have to make the most out of those.

Im not saying nature's swiftnes sucks. Im just saying its better spend in blessing of the grove for example or in some mana concerving talent as moonglow or something like that.

I will not restart the dispelling discussion here too, we've been there.

3/3 Furor: I hadnt seen that before, if someone out there thinks 1 point furor > 1 point moonlow then I can ensure you that you are very wrong there. Furor adds mana which is nice, increases your regen through innervate, revitalize and replenishment, but that doesnt come close to the benefit of moonglow which just reduces your mana costs by 3/6/9% in other words extend your total mana pool(Mana + (regen*time) + innervates / tides / hyms / pots) by 9% to make it more visual maybe.

Healing Touch glyph with out talented nature's swiftness, Ive seen this once or twice :P I dont think I need to add anything more to that :P

I personally roll with http://wowtal.com/#k=gBkFJBue.a8t.druid.3pnxCJ and will switch Furor to Genesis on 4.0.6.

I dont dispell, I dont Nourish. Simply because it costs me to much(Mana loss through Furor/Moonglow) or it doesnt add enough(HPS).

Because we can't take 3 points in moonglow and 3 points in furor and 31 points in resto and Moonglow > furor if you cast around 66+ heals a fight.

That's a pretty standard raid spec - just checked it to see if there was anything in my spec I could optimise just to discover it's the exact same. Works well in dungeons as well. I don't really bother much with PVP, can't speak for that.

Depends on your content, I'm priority tank heals in our 10 man most of the time, i take genesis and 2x furor, I dont take natures bounty, I do take nature's cure and nature's swiftness.
Furor effects innervate return for other people as well, most fight's I'll end up using innervate myself once and the rest on other healers.

Choices are quite flexible depending on your style, resto druid is one of the few specs that could happily use 5 more points in their main tree.
