What we need:
We are looking for situationally aware raiders who are dedicated to clearing content(translation, you log on when you’re supposed to, don’t stand in fire, and don’t whine about a wipe or two on new content). We expect a moderate level of gear. You must be properly gemmed, fully enchanted, and specced appropriately. We expect you to bring your own consumables, and research the fights until you dream of the mechanics. The classes we are specifically recruiting are, Hunters, Mages, Warlocks, Ret Paladin, Boomkins But exceptional players will always be considered.


About Winterborne:
Winterborne is a transfer guild. Our old server died when the top guilds on the server disbanded, and in the resultant collapse of the server, everyone jumped ship. We came here to start fresh, but held off on recruiting at the start, we wanted to see how the server would tolerate yet another guild. Given the crash of several guilds over the last few months, we decided it was time to start recruiting.
The leadership of Winterborne has experience going all the way back to Burning Crusade raids. We’re not fresh inexperienced 85s. We’ve done the content. Winterborne cleared Tier 7 content, in both 10 and 25 man. We completed OS103D the correct way, without use of exploits or zergs. We went 8/9 Hard Modes in Tier 8 content, and killed 25 man Algalon. We have cleared ToGC25 with Tribute to Mad Skill. No, we never did get Insanity, as there wasn’t enough interest with the 2nd wing of ICC coming out. We might not be getting server firsts, but we do clear the content as fast as possible. In cataclysm we have downed 4/4 BoT, 5/6 BWD and 2/2 TOTFW.


Our Raid Schedule:
We currently raid Monday through Thursday, We may of course increase or decrease the number of days we raid, depending on the content. We start invites at 6:30, and we pull the first trash at 7:00 sharp and end at 11 Server time (7:30 till 12 EST).

Loot Rules:
As of right now, we will be using a tiered /roll system. Raiders roll 800-1000. Members 400-800. Trials 100-400. When a piece of loot is won, your next roll is from the next tier below. This resets weekly. Tier pieces are rolled on a separate tier, not being reset until new content is downed.
