I don't really understand the point you're trying to make? One crit RATING is a pretty small amount you know

One crit should be worth more than one mastery

Generally when you get results like that, it's caused by you being at a point where the extra crit is causing you to lose some wild hunt uptime due to procs being wasted. It's a simulation issue that's hard to work around. If you give me a saved setting link I can take a look, but usually those results are just aberrations that are generated by specific simulation timing issues.

Yes, looking at your setting, that's what's going on- the wild hunt uptime is going down as your crit is going up, because the timing in the simulation is causing the procs to line up so that a lot of them are getting wasted. If you set custom stats crit to 100 or so, it skips over that bad timing and the numbers look more correct.

I'm still looking for a way to get around this problem but wild hunt complicates crit valuation a lot and without true randomness it's hard to avoid these sorts of weird peaks and valleys. Haste and crit are generally the stats that suffer from it, as they're the ones that have a real impact on your shot and pet attack breakdown.

I believe that after a certain point you will need to balance some between crit and mastery. I believe I read some theory crafting on that at elitestjerks and elsewhere.
