WHO WE ARE: <Black Death> [H] Dalaran, US - is a 25 man guild, focused on raiding high-end content and furthering ourselves and our guild in this manner. We raid Mon - Wed, invites start at 7:45 PM EST, with the first pull at 8:00, ending at 11:00 PM EST.
Black Death is not a truly "hardcore" guild, per se. We do not actively try for "server firsts", or to clear instances the fastest. If this is what you wish to accomplish, Black Death probably isn't for you. We raid to have fun, in the company of friends, to stretch our abilities to the highest degree. Make no mistake, however; we expect our raiders to be committed and focused, and willing to put in the extra mile for those encounters.
WHAT WE EXPECT: We expect our raiders to be on time, sitting at the instance at 7:45 when invites go out. We understand that things come up, most of us have families and careers so we understand that occasionally, you just can’t be online. In such cases, we ask that you contact your class officer via in game-mail prior to that evening’s raid. We expect you to be prepared with food/flasks. Gear must be gemmed/enchanted correctly. We expect you to have knowledge of the encounters. If you have not attempted a boss yet, we expect you to have reviewed the strat, watched the videos and be aware of boss mechanics. Vent is required. If you are a drama queen, epeen flexer, “loot whore” or are more concerned with personal gain over the raid as a whole - do not apply.
WHAT WE OFFER: Founded on January 26th, 2005, Black Death is one of the oldest guilds on Dalaran. We have stood the test of time and xpacs and are here to stay. We are not some fly-by-night, new guild that will disband next week over some petty drama. We use an epgp loot system that is fair and balanced. We offer all the perks of a lvl 25 guild. There are several arena teams in guild and there is always someone online to party with for random battlegrounds, heroics, alt lvling, and achievements. We use the weekends to work on old mount/achievement runs for those that may have missed Ulduar and ICC.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We have immediate openings in our core, 25 man grp, as well our 10 man grp. EVERY recruit will be given the chance to earn a raid spot. We are currently in need of skilled, raid-ready dps.
